Improve Image quality

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi
I did my wedding album 12x12in Photoshop ready for printing. I also saved it as jpeg so i could put it on my gallery and send to a friend. I was about to send to printers and my puter crashed and I lost the originals. I am left with poor quality jpegs. Can I import them into a high quality PS page and save them at a high quality page ready for print. I tried one but couldn't seem to improve the quality. Can anyone help Pleeeeese ?

Thanks

Resizing up is not recommended as it turns pixelly - think I made that word up!

The only thing I can suggest would be to use the Smart Object tool in Photoshop CS2 - I've just been reading an article on how to use it but haven't tried it yet. It is supposed to stop the dreaded jaggies but I am unsure if you need a high quality image to start with as I am just learning PSCS.

Computers are a pain when they don't work aren't they?

I've had three crashes this year two caused by a faulty keyboard and one when my USB hub died and deleted stuff it shouldn't. I'm still finding I have things missing and I lost tons of pages and elements which I hadn't had a chance to back up. Hopefully now we've found the cause I will be alright for the future though!

Good luck anyhow.
