Rules for Mailing:
Posting of CJ, in a heavy-duty, bubble padded envelope which will take the reuse and abuse by Royal Mail!
It is recommended CJ is placed in a sandwich/ziplock bag to protect it from the elements.

Ally I think your cj arrived this morning - I got home from the school run to have a little card put through the letterbox! honestly dont these postmen understand about the school run??? I am in all day apart from before 9.15 (he called at 9) and then afternoon run - honestly men!

I had also logged on to say that I might not be able to post on Saturday but have now noticed that I dont have to post until the 7th anyway!! bargain - gives me a lot more flexibility now. Have finally started my book now and am already really pleased with it!!

No worries Ally - the camera is a Canon A620 - has a fab screen that you can pull out and turn round (hence taking a picture of myself! although I learnt that I should look in the lens and not at the screen - hee hee!).

Argghhhhhh, I'm not having much luck recently, my hard drive died during the week and installed a new one yesterday then couldn't find the software for my printer to reinstall. Tried to print from DD's printer but it came out all splodgy!!!

Found the software tonight and just finished installing it, tomorrow I will print out the journalling and send, so sorry, it seems to be one thing after another at the moment and we are supposed to be going on hols tomorrow and as usual I am really stressed trying to get everything ready while no-one else seems to be bothered :angry:

just a quick question i am desperate to know the teqhniques in volved with some of the classes but ther not being put on the pages the burnt paper one is that burnt or inked it would be helpful to know how you did the tecnique !please i keep seeing lovely pages and wondering how to do it

Hi Tracy

Sorry for not explaining on my pages. The Burnt Paper technique is done using two inks, Vintage Photo and Black Soot. First you tear the paper, then using the vintage photo ink, you ink the edges using the foam smudgers (don't know their real name). Then using the foam smudger draw the ink slightly inwards. Now do the same with the black soot. There was no real burning of paper in the class.....although it did make people wonder when they first heard Michele say it.....Like the NEC would let us burn paper....LOL

I got totally confused, have posted a CJ onto Angela today, sorry, can't remember which one it was though!!! I think it was supposed to have been posted last Friday but just can't seem to keep up with how far ahead we are!

I now have 2 cjs left to do - Nips and Angelas, so will do Nips this weekend (hopefully!).

Mine has already winged its way to me and is looking yum, just needs a bit of first aid on the cover! (I knew I should have sanded it b4 painting it!!!)

Looking VERY sheepish here, haven't ventured into my craft room all xmas/new year and went in yesterday to have a sort out and found Angelas CJ under a pile of 'stuff':wacko: The good news is, I'm off work all next week and will get it done and posted asap. So sorry, but if you had seen the state of my room you would have seen how easily it had become buried (and Angela, it looks fab :) )
