Just to let you know that Asda are selling packs of playing cards at the right size - yay - they are in a little Travel display in the Home and Leisure department (look for the kitchen bits/bathroom bits)
As Asda are owned by Walmart in the USA, they sell the right size cards and they are only a staggering 69 tiddly widdly pence.
They have a shiny plastic-y surface but nothing that either a coat of glue or a sand down would destroy:D
