Beginning digital scrapbooking tutorial - help!

I am trying to follow this class using photoshop 5 but I'm struggling with step 4. I manage to drag the paper onto my page but it is just a small square on the 12x12 page. What am I doing wrong?

If the paper is not fitting on your page, then perhaps your canvas and paper file have different resolutions. Open the paper file and go to Image Size and see what the size and resolution is. Change it to what ever resolution you used to set up your canvas in step 2.

The only problem is, that if the paper file is to low of a resolution, it might get blurry when you increase it to what you set the canvas up as.

Make sure you are dragging the paper onto the blank document and then the pictures onto that its really easy to get mixed up and drag elements onto papers and then it all looks wrong pm me if you get stuck I am always around somewhere LOL

I finally sussed it- I was setting the dpi to 300 as the class said but it was in pixels to cm rather than inches!

BTW if I can do this class anyone can. There are some steps missing but once you have followed the instruction that are there you can work out the rest.

I would really recommend this class.

The only thing I found was the circles were on top of the photo but I found the correction under Layers - and brought the photo to the top!

Rhonna also missed out putting the ribbons on but this was easy to do after following all the otehr steps!

I am so struggling with this tutorial. where do layers come in to it? I can't make a circle, in fact can't follow the tutorial at all, and I've only had one glass of wine too.

I have tried again with digi and thanks to Lemon tried this tutorial (http://www.theshabbyshoppe.com/tutorials/first_LO_in_PSE.html) - all of a sudden it all makes sense.
