hi guys! Well after doing my first every ATC in the cyber crop swap I am liking doing them and have signed up for the 2 hour beginners class at Bonanza next week to hopefully get some tips and gain some confidence. Am really looking forward to it. :)

Question from a newbie-- where do you guys get all your bits and bobs from,
I have printed some pics of the net. But can you buy paper with this stuff on. Oh blimey I hope someone knows what I am on about!!!

try a sponsor on here 3Djean - some great stuff for ATCs - also does a bi-monthly kit - there is a thread for that if you want to see what we have made from it :) she also does a cd of images
also the auction site has loads of bits and bobs
I am also a bit of a magpie and trawl the house looking for things i can use, plus i pick up leaflets and free postcards as i go around town - also bits from magazines
the bits of book on these atcs are from a book i got for 20p from a car boot sale :) it was all broken and water damaged - and the lady gave me two free ones with it!:lol:

and have you tried the art-e-zine site? loads of images on there

Made 2 more sets today, and I might have a go tomorrow at making some that are a bit more 'cutesy'. i just can't seem to manage it, and most things tend to end up with the distressed, dishevelled look :P

I have been really trying to make some more atc's to swap.......
i have a few sets i want to make for may....everytime i try to get on with them, the 2yr old interrupts me and thats it everything has to get put away!!!I am not allowed to do anything if it takes my concentration away from him!!!!
You would think i would be safe to do them at middle of the night.............NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I start, he wakes up and stays up!!!:(
Ive been known to stay up literally all night just to do something that I want to do, that doesn't involve or concern anyone else:wacko:

awww Willow - sounds really frustrating - i remember the feeling...I am sure you are sick of peope saying "enjoy him whie it's little...blah blah blah" which is really
irritating - I say 'give yourself a break and give him to the partner/grandparent/neighbour/childminder (delete as required)" remember you are worth it!

I have a similar problem too. A DD aged 4 who wants EVERYTHING that I want to use...give her my bits I don't want, is that good enough? No it isn't!! While typing this she has come up to the loft craft room, I look at her...red all under the nose!! Is your nose bleeding? I ask, no its paint!! Paint? what paint? Look around on my craft desk, shes taken a huge bottle of red paint out the bottom of my robox and sniffed it:rolleyes: Shes picking up my ATC'S and kissing the fairy ones I just made;) Grrr, shes off to bed in min thank god. Oh and by the way, Victorian Era and sleepy moon in my gallery are for trade....end of grumble, thanks for listening lol.

I got 4 today!!!:D I wasn't expecting any until tomorrow, so I am thrilled with them. Three guardian angels from Maureen, thank you they are fab, I love them. Monika, that butterfly atc is gorgeous, I am so pleased with all four of my atc's, its like Christmas come early lol...maybe I'm more of a kid than I thought!!

Have just about managed to finish the set of atc's-to do this i had to have crafting bits dotted in various places over the house so whereever i was i could quickly so 'something', before the little monster demanded my attention!
I thought iwas clever last night......got dinner early and tidied up early so i would be able to 'craft' as soon as kids in bed instead of trying to start at 10pm wheb little monster wakes up lately............had everything done by 8.30,GUESS WHO IS REFUSING TO BLOODY SLEEP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!he eventually gives in at around 11pm!!!!!:wacko:
He knew i was up to something!

Morning everyone. Managed to make 4 for SharonK last night and finish some for a 10 swap!!!

Off to Childline today so will be taking my Guardian Angel with me :)

Having an injection in my right hand tomorrow morning ( Day ward at 8am ) :(, it's for my arthritis so my hand may be un usable for a few days will have to see how I go on. Last time it was badly bruised.
