I don't have any real dislikes - not really into glitter or fluffy but willing to try anything once!!!

Hi, My names Natalie, I'm 22 and I've been Scrapbooking for about 2 months (ish).
I'm a Customer Service Advisor for an Insurance Company (boring!!) but really would like to get into Marketing!

I really like Heratige stuff but also i love pink girly stuff. I'm also getting married in september this year and will obviously be scrapbooking that!!
My fave stuff is 7Gypsies, Basic Grey but as I've only just started I dont really know that many!!
I also really love embellies of all discriptions and also love that definition twill stuff!
I mostly do 6x6 lo's but will start doing 12x12 soon as well!
I've also been card making know for a few months (a little longer than I've been scrappin) but i think i enjoy scrappin a bit more.

My dislikes, haven't really got any (that i know of yet!!)

I have a QK and have a few die shapes and 1 alphabet which i think is freddie??

Dont have much storage wise and my df keeps going mental about all the stuff i've got around but we'll be moving to a bigger place soon and I'll get my own craft room YAY!

Non scrapping wise: I love chocs (am a self confessed chocoholic!!) and sweets anything really!!

I've been subscribed to this site (as exdancer) for ages now. But I've just changed my login name so that I don't have to remember different login names for different sites.

Introduction: My name is Judi Hodgkin and I've been married to Zandy for 17 years (18 in April). As yet we have no children (but we enjoy the practice) but we have one lovely cat named Kerewin. I run two businesses from home. One is an IT Consultancy, building, upgrading and fixing PCs and generally helping home users out with issues as well as providing Process & Procedure and Organisational Consultancy to small businesses. The other is Scrapperdashery (I've just become a sponsor of UKScrappers), where I design and manufacture a range of acid- and lignin-free double sided cardstock in 12x12 format. I'm a regular contributor to 12x12Scrapbooking Magazine and Creative Scrapbooking.

Likes and Dislikes: I have a fairly simple style, preferring the photos to speak for themselves. However, saying that, it can take me ages to complete a page as I procrastinate over the page. I like the Shabby Chic/Nostalgia look but my interpretation is usually far simpler with only one or two embellishements. I love bumpy pages. I enjoy looking for new products and new techniques. I work predominantly in 12x12 and the majority of my albums are post-bound (I prefer Making Memories for the quality of the page protectors). My favourite manufacturers (besides my own work) are Bazzill for the variety of colours and textures, Making Memories and Nostalgiques by Rebecca Sower for all their embellishments and K&Co's Life's Journey for the patterned papers. I do not like anything twee (pink is not on my list of colours unless it's a nice, dusty pink) and I loathe gingham (sorry to the Gingham Girls) and tartan. I'm using more florals than I used to and I even bought some MM Blossoms recently (haven't used the though). Did I say I love embellishments? I have an XXL that just holds my embellishments now (and that doesn't include eyelets).

Non-scrapbooking stuff: Everyone I know is convinced that I love chocolate. I like the stuff but it takes me ages to work through a block. My weaknesses are dairy (cheese in any format) and my favourite drink at the moment is Milo.

I sing - a lot. I am a member of Reading Festival Chorus and Newbury Spring Festival Chorus. I'm hoping to audition for a semi-professional choir. My favourite reading matter is Science Fiction/Science Fantasy (Anne McAffrey and Sherri Tepper) when I'm not reading scrapbooking magazines and I'm on the committee for the Science Fiction Eastercon 2006 in Glasgow.

I'm very good friends with Wendrie. I do have other friends and we've bought a house in Berkshire that is big enough to have lots of them come over and see us. We try to do that two or three times a year.

Ok - here goes! Here is a little about me at the moment

I am 36, married to a lovey DH, and have a daughter aged 7. We live in the midlands, near Cannock Chase. DD is at times girly, at times tomboyish!

I mainly scap in 12x12, but have a couple of 6x6's and am thinking of doing my Xmas bits in the 6x6 KandCo Xmas album. I also have a 8x8 for my trip in Dec/Jan to New Zealand. I am scrapping DD at present - have been scrapping her life so far - jumping here and there - picking out the pictures I like LOL:lol:

I am starting a "year in the life" of DD starting from this month, and would love monthly goodies/seasonal goodies to use in the LO's. (still ongoing)

Likes - pastels, beiges, browns, greens, blues, pale yellows. I sometimes use brights - but not a lot. I love Anna Griffin type papers - but am sometimes unsure of how to use them LOL.

I love metal embellies, fibres and ribbons.

I am going to NZ in Dec/Jan 06 so travel goodies would be good too! :)

Makers I like - KandCo, Chatterbox, Bazzil, MM, HOTP, Anna Griffin.

Dislikes - Psychodelic (?sp). The 70's revivals - jazzy. (- these are the papers I dislike - but I rather like the embellies of this sort LOL). I have no other real dislikes, as I would appreciate all that is given anyway.

I thought it was about time I posted my likes/dislikes! I am the mother of two children – Megan is almost 7 and Nathan is nearly 5. I scrap in 12x12 and my albums are very much oriented towards the children and I am still working on their baby albums as well as their growing up albums. I am also still doing my Book of Me, a wedding album and albums from trips to Disneyland Paris and Lapland. I’ll be using it to compile an album about my relationship with my hubby.

My daughter Megan (aged 6) has recently started Scrapbooking and can make use of literally any different types of papers, stickers and spare buttons.

I have a new addiction to rubber-stamping and am seriously limited on the stamps and inks! I own a couple of small alphabet stamps, a happy birthday stamp, baby feet and a couple of others. I’d really like to build up my stamp and ink collection. I prefer slow drying inks that can be used to emboss with, ohh, and embossing powders, UTEE etc would be lovely!

I adore lumpy bumpy scrapbooks and love ALL 3d style embellishments as well as Jolees stickers, 7 gypsies, Junkitz type stuff, Pebbles Inc, I-kandee etc.

With the children, my daughter is a very girlie girl and it’s pinks and purples all the way with the albums for her! My son’s pages tend to be more of the neutral creams, browns, distressed style and toned down blues and greens rather than bright colours. As for me, I am a purple passion freak! It’s my favourite colour and I’d have every room in my house purple if I thought I could get away with it! Hehehe

On the non-Scrapbooking side – I am very easy to please! I make candles for a living, so don’t ever need those, but anything to make me or my house smell good is always gratefully received! I don’t get to relax much, so it’s nice to be able to pamper myself! I am a huge chocolate lover too - Cadburys and GALAXY!!

I am relatively new to scrapbooking, but have made cards for friends/family for a number years and also do cross stitch (mainly all our memories type thing) - although two children under three don't exactly give me alot of time these days!!

I seem to be scrapping in. I would like to experiment with bold primary colours though. Love riboons and anything texturey (if there is such a word) Love K + CO - especially the Studio K stuff and the floral papers. Love embellishments - like to experiment, love flowers of all sorts - mulberry paper, fabric anything. Love all things girly - seem to be collecting bags atm - bit of a fetish for them especially beaded ones!! Love anything retro, basic grey sophie, alyssa, phresh and phunky - need the list go on?

Don't have any alphabet die cuts, so anything in that vein would be great.

Dislikes - anything too lacey or heritagey

I am not married and do not have kids, but do have a lovely boyfriend who I live with and two younger sisters, who I adore. I am 22 so have lots of pics of me out on the town with mates.

Likes:

I scrap in 12 x 12 or 8 x 8, but would like to try scrapping in 8 x 11 1/2" and am currently doing a travel album as I spent 6 months in Greece last year. I lurve patterned paper, especially stripes and spots. I love the retro look.

My favourite companies at the moment are KI Memories and Scenic Route, I can't get enough of their papers.

I like shabby chic and collage LO's. My fav embellies are: rub-ons, staples, eyelets, metal embellies, and unusual embellies.

I'm mad about alphabets and I'm a cardstock fiend and can't get enough ribbon.

Would like to try anything from the Tim Holtz range, UTEE in metallic colours, ATC's. I love experimenting with new stuff and trying new techniques.

Dislikes:

I don't like flowery patterned paper like Laura Ashley type stuff, borders, fibres, die-cuts or stickers (unless they're alphabets or sayings). I don't really scrap xmas or haloween or birthdays. And *shock horror*I'm not that keen on Basic Grey!!

DISLIKES MRS Grossman and CM type stickers, actually not keen on stickers at all apart from letters.I don't do Halloween.Not too keen on really cutie stuff.

Otherwise I like to try most things. I am particularly into altered things and mini books at the moment and I love tags.
I have a qk but only 2 alphabets Star & Mellisa. My DD has a sizzex.
I am married with 3 DDs (26, 24 & 20), The eldest is married and has provided us with our DGS Ethan (2 yrs 4mnts). I enjoy travel, reading, cooking and jumping in puddles with Ethan.(Don't tell his Mum).My youngest DD has her own horse and middle DD is a wedding co-ordiator.
I work part-time at a local scool as a teaching assistant but actually only teach cookery.I help to run a fortnightly craft club locally and also enjoy patchwork and fabric crafts.
We have a springer spaniel and I like to walk with her in the lovely local countryside.I am currently trying hard to loose weight.

I have started an 8x8" book of me but it only has 2 entries in so far!
Apart from scrapping, I also make and sell beaded jewellery and love to read.

My fave munchies are ordinary cadburys milk choc, plain or bacon pringles and walkers crisps. To drink I like diet coke, baileys and Margaritas. I dont really drink hot drinks much.

Dont do smellies, cos I am allergic to lots of skin stuff and my Mum is to anything smelly round the house like candles or insence.

my name's lauren and i'm 21, and I've just graduated from Uni. I live with my lovely boyfriend who is a junior doctor in central manchester. apart from scrapping, i love to read, see films and go to the theatre, eat out, shop with friends and travel.

i scrapbook in 12 x 12 size for myself and make sara books and bag books as gifts / CJs. i like dark deep colours especially reds, greens, browns and blues.
i love patterned paper - especially basic grey. i like stripes, polka dots, and heavily patterned styles - snowflakes, 1950s cowboys, cats - lots of kitsch really! I do lots of heritage pages, so I like the k &co life's journey range and 'script' style papers. Oh, and I do loads of Christmas pages.

i use lots of alphabets stamps on layouts and i love embellishments - especially brads, shaped eyelets and metal words. oh, and ribbons and twill. buttons too.
I love rub ons - i'm a big making memories large heidi white fan!

dislikes - well, there's not much I dislike, just stuff i never use. i have tons of floral anna grifiin type papers and i don't use fibres often enough to explain the amount i have. I can't set an eyelet to save my life and i hardly use all the the tiny charms I have, though I love bigger ones.

so far, i've mostly been scrapbooking heritage, family events and holidays. i have two cats and two dogs, and i love history and architecture. chocolate-wise, i like almost everything, apart from nuts and anything jelly-like (haribo etc).. my favourite though is anything egg shaped and i dream of the day they make creme eggs as big as my head!

Im Kerry and Im 20, I live at home with my parents on the sunny south coast and I'm a trainee accountant which makes me sound really dull! But honest I'm not!

I've been scrapbooking about a year and a half now, and was more of a search and look at everyone elses LO's kinda person when I first found out about scrapbooking. But once I started I couldn't stop! I have an 'on going' 12x12 that I gave my mum for her birthday. (which is now stuffed!) Ive also now completed a 8x8 30th wedding anniversary album (which I loved!) for my auntie and uncle and I put together a quick 6x6 of holiday snaps of Menorca. I have now completed various other albums. Im off to New York and Washington in November so Im currently collecting together stash to use on the thousands of photos Im sure I'll take while Im there!

I also make alot of my own cards. Always do all my christmas cards and make all my mums to.

Ive also tried altering a few different things and I'm really loveing that aswell!

I'm a real girly girl and LOVE all things pink and sparkly!! I love buttons and brads and ribbon and rik rak and charms, ok I like pretty much all emblishments! I dont have anything from my familys history so I've no need for anything 'heritege'.

I really love everything doodlebug at the moment and Karen Foster as well.

When Im not scraping I love to shop! I also enjoy going to the movies and going to restaurants! Yum! I like both milk and white chocolate but Im not crazy about dark chocolate, oh and I don't like nuts. Blah! I am quite a pamper yourself girl, but I'm not a laze on the bath kind of girl, tend more to have showers. I love burning candles and incense, makes the place smell so yummy! I love any type of holidays (even if they aren't ours! as I love 4th July and Thanksgiving!) Christmas especially! I love all the food and the whole feeling Christmas brings. I'm always on the look out for fab recipies that could become a yearly tradition!

I'm 34 this year, married to maf (his initials - & source of my UKS id) and we have 2 kids, Eloise (nearly 9) and Robert (13 months), three cats & 1 rabbit. We live on the edge of London (last but 1 house!) and I am an Accountant for a local authority (YAWN!)

Stumbled into scrapbooking via cardmaking and am totally hooked. Working on several 12x12 albums at the moment, including one each of the kids, a Wedding/Honeymoon one, 2005 yearly one and a family album!! Also love doing mini-books, acordian books, paperbag books and altered tins and have a black 9x9 album with no use as yet!

I have a sizzix machine and a tonne of dies (including some sizzlits), a quickutz with a few dies and one alphabet, a personal impressions punch arm with alphabet cassettes (my fav equipment), a dymo label printer and a Fiskars scrapboss - oh and a nasty credit card that needs paying ;)

Not really into the oldie-worldy stuff, hate paisley and detailed floral patterns and I just don't get emphemra (or whatever it's called!). Lov Making memories and Junkitz, like large blossums and unusual embellishments - especially charms.

Favourite colour is RED, love brads, need larger eyelets, have plenty of fibres and cardstock/papers.

Non-scrapbooking I'm more a sweety fan than a choccy fan, love Baileys and wine (red or white) and have fetish for keyrings and handbags!!

My likes and dislikes

Well, I'm ally married with 3 kids so who knows how I find the time to scrap:) I'm working my way through the vast heap of photos we've collected and stuffed into boxes!
I love bazzil cardstock any colour but especially the blue and green shades, eyelets, brads, fibres, ribbons and buttons. I just got a sidekick so I'm getting obsessed with sizzlet dies and I couldn't do without chalk inks and my mm foam stamps! Would really like to try embossing soon it looks great. Non-scrapping things I like would be scented candles, bath stuff, the usual pampering things.

After that lot can there be any dislikes, well floral paper leaves me cold and I'm not too fond of pastel colours, but apart from that I can't think of anything.

Oh and I absolutely love chocolate (too much:) ) but it must be Cadbury not Galaxy - I blame the fact that my dad worked in the Cadbury's factory when I was a child!!!!!

Have two grown up children, Vikki 25 and Keith 22. Both have their own houses and both are engineers.

Have been scrapbookin since September 2004. So I am a newbie. Go to a couple of local crops and crop with a friend as often as possible.

Have a Sizzix, so if you want any shapes, yell.........

Love eyelets, the unusual the better, brads, any sorts of paper, but not too abstract!!

Use all sorts of colours, like purple, green, but don't mind really. Please feel free to look in my gallery to get a feeling of the sorts of things I like.

Have been scrapbooking for a couple of years and love everything about it. Have bought most of my stash with gilly_dragon so we have a share of everything. We have a sizzix machine a xyron 510 and 150.

I love eyelets, all sorts of colours, papers, textures, fibres in fact I dont think there is anything I particularly dislike. I adore basic grey and ginx and junkitz if thats a help. I love embellishments, charms etc. my favourite colours are Green and purple but I love most colours (I know thats not very helpful but I am so easy, or so people say) :lol:

Up to now my LO's are a bit boyish due to the fact that I am scrapping the children one by one but I will have pretty pink pages one day DEFINITELY.

Okay my likes and dislikes...

I'm currently working on a scrapbook of grandchildren for my grandmother's 80th birthday, so things to enbellish small people pages work well. I'm also trying to kickstart a holidays scrapbook and I'm up to my god daughter's christening in her book.

I love metal embellishments; am obessed with brads, snaps and eyelets. Ribbon charms, metal letters, hinges, flips, photo stays etc etc are always welcome and I love ribbon, lace and fibres. I've recently discovered shabby chic and am sanding and inking everything in sight! Anything Basic Grey works well too!

I love rub-ons, monograms, walnut ink pads, chalk inks and any other sort of inks too.

I don't have any sort of die-cutter, so alphabets and die-cut shapes are welcomed and adored.

My favourite manufacturers at the moment are SEI, Foofala, Basic Grey, Studio K (but NOT K&Co), 7 Gypsies and MOD.

My dislikes:
I don't really like yellow - I just can't seem to get along with it. I'm not mad keen on stickers as I have too many and they never get used.

I don't really like anything that screams girly-girl as I'm not that sort of girl ;) and the same goes for florals and anything cartoony or cutesy. I don't like pastels either.

Other than that- everything is greatly appreciated.

I'm not really that keen on peeloffs.

My likes and dislikes

I like Bazzill, Making Memories, Junkitz, Basic Grey, Scenic Route and SEI in particular. I'd love to be sent the unusual or things that other people have found interesting or really useful or good to work with.

I like classic, contemporary, shabby chic. I probably prefer subtle shades rather than bright primary colours (but would try it to see). Favourite colours and tones are autumnal.

Dislikes include: cute, cartoons, glittery, fussy, too flowery or overly sentimental. Not always keen on stickers but they can have their place!

I have a partner, one daughter age 20 and two step-sons 18 and 22, so no baby stuff required. I have two West Highalnd White dogs.

I intend to start a scrapbook for my daughter's 21st (in secret) to plot her journey to adulthood. I also want to scrap family and past and current events in our lives. I would like to use metal embelishments, frames, brads, eyelets, fibres and ribbons. I have a QK and a few dies but no alphabets as yet. Trying to build up a useful stamp collection too.

In the treat line - I do like chocolate but not in excess and can take it or leave it, prefer maltesers, dime bars, nutty chocolate, hard centres, bitter chocolate mints, licquorice (hard or soft, allsorts - but definately not flavoured!).

Really can't stand soft centres like strawberry/coffee/orange/cream eggs - all too sickly!

Finally got up the courage to do my first swap so thought I'd better write a bit in here!

Not been scrapping long so don't have to much stash, yet!

I LOVE disney stuff and have a few holidays there to scrap, open to any colours, embellishments etc

Not too keen on the heritage look or girly girly things (bit of a tom boy!) but have just started a BOM so am open to anything! Am due to get married in 2006 so anything along that theme wouldn't be sniffed at!

I love a LOT of things! especially Doodlebug and Bazzill ( I use a lot of plain cardstock) and KI Memories patterned paper which I have got a huge crush on at the moment!

I like all sorts of embellishments, especially plain shaped buttons and flowers

I love ribbons!

I like making my own embellishments using bits and bobs rather than buying pre-made stickers or 'toppers'

I dont really like vintage style or premade things, and for some reason Im not a huge fan of blue but seem to have a LOT of blue stuff!

I dont have any children but i do have a dog and a whole lot of dog photos!

Ok I live with my OH, Keith, do not have children but have a much loved and photographed cat, Henry. Tend to scrapbook days out and holidays. Have also got an album to give OH as a pressie (when I finally finish it!!) and a BOM (which is continual work in progress).

Use plain cardstock mainly - with the odd bit of patterned paper - and prefer more subtle colours (not pastels but not really bright if you get what I mean?!!) Favourate colours are the autuminal ones - think of trees in the autumn and the different browns, reds, greens and oranges that the leaves are.

But for some reason I have stacks of blue paper - but never really scrapbook in that colour??!! So no more blue paper please!!!! :lol:

At first I couldn't understand what everyone was going on about re the shabby chic worn papers but now I love them. Love move Basic Grey papers - like lollipop (colourful but not bright in your face IYSWIM) and the black one, but vagabond and motifica are my favs. Also love DCWV (?) paper stacks. But then I have to say I do tend to like most of the papers!

Love eyelets, brads, snaps, charms, fibres and ribbons - anything which is embelishments.

But really truly LOVE buttons :wub: so much so I am considering marrying them!!!!! :lol: :D Some how though I can't seem to bring myself to use them on my LO - just stroking. I've seen the doctors but they say I am a hopless case! :P :lol:

Have a thing about lettering - like lots of different styles and colours. Have got a Sizzix machine and am gradually adding to my dies though not got that many - a statement I will continue to say that until I have every one they do!!! :lol:

Love chalk inks and also making my own embelishments from clay. Also have a thing about organising and storing my stash.

Use stickers, stamps - anything and everything.

Do not like pink or purple or 'girlly' style or flowers! And Herma and I do not get on so I am a glue dot and double sided tape kind of girl. :)

I also love Revels :wub: , toffee's, curly wirlys, fudge and sherbet dips with liquorice.

Am open to trying new things so I suppose nothing is out really except girly! :)

Thought I better make an attempt at putting down my likes and dislikes.

A bit about me - I'm 35 :) and I've been scrapping since about 2000 and as I'm single with no kids I scrap mainly my own pics and heritage photos. Among other things I'm working on a Book of Me, Heritage Album, Faith album and try to scrap holidays, events and everyday things as well.
I haven't found a particular 'style' for my own scrapping yet I like to try different types of layout and play with different embelishments.

I can always use plain coloured cardstock and am getting to like patterened paper more. Love anna griffin papers, K&Co, and heritagey types.

I prefer realistic images to cartoony ones

Favourite colour is red but don't dislike any colours.

I love lettering stuff (ie titles, journalling blocks, rubons, alphabet cut outs etc ) as I hate my own handwriting

I like lumpy embelishments, fibers, tags, ribbon wire, beads, charms, plaques, glittery things, metal things.

I like just about everything.

I'm going on holiday to Italy later this year and although I have some Italy theme rubber stamps anything else to fit this theme would be more than welcome.

I love Doodlebug, Bazzill, and have just dicovered Basic Grey. Fibres, ribbons, ric rac, Buttons, brads, anything metal, my Dymo, alphabet rub-ons, chalk inks and my alphabet rubber and foam stamps, I have just discovered paper bag books and love them, there is nothing in particular I don't like (yet)
I am doing a general family album and have started a BOM. I want to do my OHs Army piccies too.

I now have a QK, 3 alphas and a few dies so am hoping to build that up as and when I can.

I love chocolate,my absolute faves are star bars, but like most chocy really apart from the really rich stuff.

I don't use bath stuff as I am easily irritated, I don't wear makeup often but do use nail varnish occasionally

I am a mum with 2 wonderful children, my son is 17 and has special needs he goes to a special school where he stays during the week. He is hard work but he is so cute too !!
My daughter is14 {nearly15} and is just the best.
As for me I am 40 going on 21 !

I love purple and prefer muted colours more than brights. I am also the worlds biggest Eeyore fan !

I also am a patchwork/ quilter, I like loads of craft hobbies.
I have been scrapbooking for about 3 years and I like 12 x 12 although I have done the odd smaller album as specials.
I have a sissix machine and a quickutz!!! That's because I live so close to paperarts and am always popping in !!!

I tend to be quite a traditional scrapper, not really into 'shabby chic' etc.

I don't celebrate halloween.

my name is Liz. I've been a UKS member for over a year but have only just discovered this corner of UKS. I have been married for 28 years, and have a son of 23 who has just graduated from university but is still living at home. Iam an inner city infant teacher and love my job - I bet that makes a change from what you usually hear from teachers but it's true.
I have been scrapbooking for abouta 18 months, have lots of likes but not that many dislikes. I do like to challenge myself and try out new techniques and materials. I like most colours but I suppose I do go for more boy colours and layouts simply because I have a son. I love to do LO's of historical buildings and places which allow me to refresh my patience and tranquility, destress in other words. Countryside, wide vistas and beautiful views accompanied by bird song and peace restore my equilibrium. You can tell from my gallery!!!!
I am trying to establish a range of embellishments that link to family. beautiful views, histroical buildings, water - lakes, the sea etc.
I love all the new papers in the Basic Grey and Junkitz ranges and enjoy putting together LO's which include a variety of patterned papers. I also have started to experiment woth fabric paints and collage for CJ covers.
I think I am a well balanced, calm, fun loving individual who is now beginning to revel in the creative side of scrapbooking, gather stash, drooling over wonderful papers and embellishments. I love fibres and collect them avidly.

Well here's a bit about me too! I am old and grey but only on the outside ... inside tells me I am still about 40!! I am a very keen gardener, climber and cross-country skier and travel a lot with DH mostly with a backpack and one set of clothing! (Yes, we do wash!) Hi all :D

I am married, no nippers as yet but my husband has a 6 yr son who I scrap regularly and I have an 18 month old neice. My wedding colours were Burgundy, cream and antique gold so I like anything in those colours which could possibly be used in my wedding scrapbook.

I LOVE buttons, brads and eyelets in any colour, shape or form. I also love metal embellies flatish ones and slide mounts. I am intrigued by the whole guitar pick thing too...

I now own a sizzix machine and have some of the basic dies including the tags sizzlits and would love to see the combi frame die cuts of all shapes in real life before I invest in them!

Colour wise for anything else I like strong, bold colours (but not bright primaries) EXCEPT green (I have a hate/hate relationship with green, with only a few shades taking my fancy). Not very hot on pastels but use them where they suit.

I am not too keen on patterns and only really know if I like a pattern when I see it!
and I don't like glittery, fluro/neon or holographic things.

I have more fibres than I can poke a stick at and I think DH is going to move out if I get any more!

So not fussy really.....

I love glitter (in moderation), bright colours and muted. Anything that adds texture, ribbon, fibre, Magic Scraps, beads etc. I like fiddly things! Oooer misses!

What don't I like? Ummm....Vintage stuff isn't my favourate, partly because I don't know what to do with it.

Been scrapbooking 12 x 12 now for 18 months and am still finding my feet! Although one look at my stash and you know that I buy more than I create! :)

I'm 32, married to Dave, no children or pets. Volleyball takes over my life for 8 months of the year! I have lots of Bazzill cardstock & quite a few Prima flowers.

Likes - fibres, ribbons (Doodlebug grosgain), brads, eyelets, chalk inks, alphabets, embellishments (especially metal ones) - most stuff really! Also starting to like BG more now! Especially Phresh & Phunky. Love most colours, especially teals! Got married in Fiji, so have beach & sunset photos to scrap. Non-scrapbooking: Volleyball, toffee pennies, the smell of vanilla & jelly babies!!!!!!

Dislike - really floral stuff/heavy patterned paper, beads, lace, also not really a girlie girl - so not too much glitter, holographic paper etc. Also, don't have heritage photos - so don't need those papers etc either. Non-scrapbooking: Can't eat any type of chocolate, cheese or the majority of nuts! :( Can't stand the smell or taste of coconut. Also don't eat aniseed or licorice. Orange isn't a favoured colour either!

:D I love Basic Grey and similar papers, metal embellishments, I use lots of brads and eyelets, am just begining to experiment with fibres and ribbons, I really love MM foam stamps and have Philledelphia lower and misunderstood and my favourite inks are fluid chalks. I am also a huge fan of rub on alphabets, i own a QK and have a few dies and a couple of alphabets.

I like alphabet eyelets letters, frames, don't use very sentimental phrases and sentiments, get through masses of pritt stick. would love to increase my selection of gel pens (only have a silver one!).

:nono: I am not keen on pastel colours, 'cute' or flowery papers or papers with very small patterns. I do have a DD, but wouldn't choose pink!

I do not make cards, so am not keen on having lots of the same embellishment, would rather have a selecton of items!

Hope this is not too specific, i am easily pleased and will have a big smile on my face, just for receiving a present!!!

Bio: My name is Dawn, I use Aurora (goddess of the Dawn) on forums. I’m 36 years old, spent my childhood living in Germany (dad was in the Army) I’m married to Mick, have been for 12 years now, I have one daughter Danielle (Dannii) aged 15 taking her GCSEs this year then going on to college to do drama and theatrical studies. Also have two stepchildren but they don’t live with us, Samantha (15) and David (14) they live in Reading with their mother. I’ve got one dog, Daisy, West Highland Terrier and six! cats, two ginger moggies, two mackerel moggies and two adorable torties. Think we’ve got more kittens on the way!, I also keep tropical fish. Other hobbies include cross-stitch, I like the really small stitching on linen. Outside of crafts another hobby I took up last year, much more expensive, motorcycling – I love my bike. I also read pretty much anything, but prefer Sci Fi fantasy, paranormal, magical etc. Love fairies, mermaids, dragons etc.

Job: I’ve been a secretary pretty much since I left school, except for a brief period working at Wimbledon Theatre backstage.

SB Stash: I've now been scrapping for over a year now and have lots of bits and bobs... but would appreciate ‘anything’ I am sent. I scrap 12x12, think I would like to have a go at 6 x 6. I also make cards, trying NOT to buy any shop made this year, although I have a bit of a problem with male birthdays.

SB Likes/dislikes:

I do like pink, sparkly, bright and fluffy, also getting into lilac, white and silver. I like buttons, eyelets, brads (in fact any embellishments - I can’t stop buying them) and so on.... I also love tags but not used them much on my LOs.

Love all alphabets and definitions.

Any MM stuff. I love using metal bits, eyelet words or letters or charms and would love to try new stuff too. Any fibres and ribbons love them too.

I have quite a bit of patterned paper, but not a huge amount of card stock.

Dislikes are few but I'm don’t like anything religious or too cutesy. Not really into stickers or the heritage look.

I don’t have any of the cutting machines, although I could possibly persuade hubby to get me either QuicKutz or Sizzix, not sure which is best?

Colours: I don’t like really bright colours, prefer lilac and silver, Pink (in a big way), even had my motorbike sprayed pink this Christmas, white and silver, cream and gold etc. Also like the natural autumnal colours.

Misc:. Really want to try a few new things this year, looking at embossing systems at the moment, with the light box etc.

I've already signed up for some CJ's, and have both 12x12 and 6x6 albums (empty as yet).

I have 4 cats and love anything to do with them. Like brads, buttons, eyelets, tags and anything unusual.

I also have 2 nephews and 2 neices, all under 5, so my LO's when I get round to them will be the baby photo's I get from my sister and sister-in-law.

Haven't found anything I don't like yet, but I'm only just starting out so there must be plenty I haven't even seen or heard of.

Bio: My name is Nadine, I'm 27 and from Australia. Am still single and enjoying it. I moved to the UK 2 years ago and really miss the weather at home!!

Job: I am currently working as nanny. I love my job and have a billion photos of the kids to scrapbook!!

History: I have been scrapping for 5 years now. I started with a 25th wedding anniversary album for my parents. I then did my European journey. I scrap 12x12. I use the CM cutting system as I find it is the easiest and most reliable of everything I've tried.

SB Likes/dislikes:

I LOVE Paper & Stickers!!!! I am shocking and buy WAAAYYY too many!! But I can't help it! I love every shade of blue and it features heavily in my album. But I really do like most colours, although I'm less enthused about bright primary colours.

I love alphabet & definition stickers and alphabet die cuts. Not a big fan of other diecuts unless they are specifically chosen for a layout.

I love fibres and other embellishments. I love cardstock stickers and epoxy stickers.

I just bought myself a Sizzix Sidekick and the Funky Brush & Girls Are Weird alphabets!!

Misc:. I love scrapbook magazines and really miss the quality of the ones from home in OZ.

Hi, my name is Claire and I am 23. I live with my DF, we're getting married in March 2006.

I am new to scrapping (started in Dec 04) and at the moment I love everything! Basic Grey, SEI, Gin X and Urban Lily are my faves. I also think Bazzill cardstock is gorgeous. Paper is my weakness and I am forever buying it. Embellishments confuse me, I love them, but never know what to buy. Most of what I have already got are gifts from others. But I can't think of anything I don't like!

I love ribbons and fibres, chalk inks, foam stamps and acrylic paints.

I'm not a big fan of heritage stuff, but other than that I'm a bit of an open book :)

I don't scrap about children (apart from the odd LO of my nephew) and I don't like animals. Most of my stuff is about me (I'm very vain :lol:) and my DF.

I have just got a Silent Setter, so should now be able to play with eyelets. I don't have a die cutter of any description, so alphabet/title die cuts would be very gratefully received.

I'm Diane, married to John for 14yrs and we have two boys, ages 8yrs and 17mths. I have a large extended family and tend to scrap about all those I love. I'm extremely close to my two sisters and just started a scrapbook about the three of us.
So, generally I like boyish stash, babies and girly but not too twee. Tend to scrap girl stuff that is fun but yet stylish.
I'm hoping to start a BOM very soon so that is on my list too.

LIKES: vivid colours (especially oranges and reds, stripes, dots and adore paper of all kinds. Bazill and Basic grey are my faves.
Buttons are my weakness at the moment and twill, printed or otherwise. Ribbons are gorgeous too in vivid colours.
Stamps are another fave of mine.
Rub on quotes.
I've just started creating canvases, so paints and other items to decorate are always welcome.
I love distressed stuff; either embellies or otherwise.
I like silver also.
Alphabets are another weakness too!

DISLIKES:
Not into heritage and flowery (more floral I mean) things at all.
Not keen on stickers either.
Don't like pastel colours particularly except if they are mixed with other strong colours.

I've been putting off filling this in because to be honest with you I'd be delighted with anything but as I have joined the birthday swap I think I really ought to fill this in.

SO - here we go. I'm 39 and live with my DH and DD who is 7; I'm a student teacher in science - who struggles to get away from the board while she should be studying! I'm a new scrapper - I started at Christmas when DH bought me a starter set. The one stash that I have plenty of is fibre as I am also a knitter, although thanks to various swaps I am improving stash levels all the time. I'm a keen member of the teams and tend to do two challenges per month.

From the last few months of scrapping I can safely say that I adore the HOTP and K&Co lines - I bought the recent QVC TSV and am using it a ot already and have the HOTP Travel, Masculine and Pretty embellishment books. I have also made a lot of use of some of the Quote stacks and adore vellum. I am trying to move my scrapping on a level - while I am happy with what I have done so far I realised during the CC that I was capable of more :D I tend to use a lot of tags and computer journalling; I don't have a diecutter yet, as I am not sure that I would really use anything other than alphas.

I really enjoy the CJs and have finished several of them (Nature, Mums advice, Pick n mix) with more ongoing. Think that's about it - anything else I'll edit!

Hi I'm almost 31, amrried and have 2 small boys ( 6 and 4). I scrap the children alot but its hard to find nice things for boys. I dont like anything too babyfied or trains and boats etc.

I LOVE Bazill, Basic Grey, Chatterbox, Sudio K.

I NEED alphabets too, die cut or stickers, charms, eyelet letters etc. I dont really go for the themed or coloured stickers though, too restrictive. Prefer plain to paint or chalk.
Adore MM alphabet rub ons - probably other rub ons but not seen

I also love pink for myself - not for girls but suitable for BOM.

Love thin patterned ribbons.

I need eyelets and brads, I have literally no brads but I like circles and squares from tiny to big.

I love mini books, journals, accordian books etc, bought or handmade but I like to decorate myself.

Die cut tags from small to jumbo will always come in handy, preferably in Bazzill.

Love blossoms. twistel, stitches.

Like chalk ink pads too.

Dislikes:Not really bothered about vellum, dont like things like begs and shaped embellishments that are type specific.
Dont like bright orange, lime green etc UNLESS its Basic grey type e.g love sublime and lollipop shoppe _ full of contradictions!!

Dont want to sound ungrateful but I make the effort to buy up to date things, and co-ordinating stuff for swaps etc and dont like to receive things that other people cant use and have been in stash for years.

LOVE chocolate esp galaxy. milkybar, maltesers and dairy milk- have rarely been known to turn chocolate down!

A bit about me …

My name is Tracy and I am a 39 year old chatterbox from Kent who is brand new to scrapbooking, although I have been making cards for about 18 months. I took part in the 7 deadly sins cyber crop (on the winning team :) ) and actually managed to attempt some of the LOs and challenges, although only digitally. I have recently been involved in Scrappers Block, although I got thrown out in the first round I was pleased to have got much further than I expected.

The stash pile is definitely growing what with the stuff I have from card making, and the new stuff I am buying although a lot of the patterned papers are new to me. I do have a large collection of Bazzill which I love. I seem to be collecting albums like they are going out of fashion, although I have only 1 LO so far to put in them. I am having a great time working on circle journals though.

I have a rather large collection of rubber stamps, and have loads of rub-ons that I bought on impulse and would love to find a use for at some point. I have lots of jewels, eyelets and things that I use in card making, but would appreciate any advice on the sort of embellishments used on scrapbooks as I don’t think I have too many of them (although increasing all the time). I have just found Basic Grey - I am in love! I have now found Blue Cardigan and I am even more in love ... I expect this will continue as I get more PP - did I see some Sweetwater lurking somewhere. :) Since sorting my stash correctly I realise I have the hugest collection of ribbons and fibres (and not much idea of how to use them :lol:)

I have set myself the challenge of completing 4 albums this year (is this too optimistic? update - still haven't started any of them :lol:) – one on a holiday to New Orleans (my favourite place in the world); one on my holiday to Disneyworld, Florida (2nd favourite place); one on last year’s Chelsea Flower Show (this will likely be digital, as I can’t be bothered to print off the pictures at the moment, and my printer isn’t working properly) and finally an album on my family, as I am gradually scanning all of my parents photos in order to try and preserve them, as they are storing them in carrier bags in their garage out in Spain.

My favourite colours are all shades of purple, from the lightest lilac/pink to the deepest purple/black, I love anything glittery and sparkly, and I love chocolate, teddy bears, all kinds of music and, when I get a spare moment, reading.

I am single and have no children so romance/baby stuff does not hold any interest for me in any way - neither does stuff about cats - sorry not keen on them at all!

My name is Karen, I am married (6 years now) with 2 littlies (almost 4 yo dd, 18mth old ds). We have 3 cats, 1 guinea pig, 2 giant snails atm, will likely get another dog sometime in the next couple of months as well.

I have loads of wedding pics to scrap as soon as I get the nerve to start on proper photos I can't replace!lol!!

Starting to do my pics from the big trip downunder but mostly my scrapping is about my kids.

I love bright colours. Yellow is my favourite colour (the brighter the better), my daughter wears a lot of orange and pink - I keep running out of orange things!lol!! Also doing lots of blue layouts of my son.

I just LOVE buttons and ribbons and brads. Love using blossoms, in fact I have a flower fetish going at the moment. :)

Definitely prefer brads to eyelets, just easier to use
Love ribbons (especially gingham) and fibres
Prefer brighter, bold papers
Metal embellishments are always a winner with me
Silk flowers (started to accumulate a couple)

But I do also like girly things, any pink and sparklie, just need some photos

Not keen on peel offs, buttons, sickly quotes, vellum and animal related (I don't have any pets)

Having become addicted to this site now and finding new things (oh the advantages of broadband and the odd sleepless night – to many creative thoughts!) I will add to this list.

I am 31 (soon to be 32 – oh no), married to David. We celebrate 10 years in 2006 so am trying to persuade him to take me to the Maldives – what great photos to scrap. We have a 2 yob – 3 in August. We have 2 cats who are around before Theo. Theo is mainly what I scrap at the moment but I want to use some girly things so will go back and do LOs of those days gone by.

I started out as a card maker – I sell enough to keep me in stash. I have lots of rubber stamps and punches. I mainly scrap 12x12 and have done a couple of concertina albums as gifts, but willing to try almost anything once. I started scrapbooking Christmas 2003 – it took me a while to register on this site.

Hi I'm Jac (Jcqui) I'm 37 and been with DOH for 20 years, we have DD who is 8 and has just joined junior scrappers so have to share my limited stash!

I haven't been doing this for very long so don't have a lot of anything but keep buying little bits and pieces every chance I get.

Love eyelets brads and snaps. Love trawling through charity shops for bargin stuff that I can use on layouts.

Basically I don't think I've got any SB dislikes so I'm easy to please. My newest acquisition is a mini shapeboss and 1 stencil of scrolls.

Outside of SB I love linedancing (yes I've got the boots but not the hat!) only at classes though not quite brave enough yet to attend a proper function!:lol: I also love long earings, especially silver coloured ones which I fix onto my normal hoops and elephants.

I enjoy making all sizes of LO's from 12" to mini books to canvas pads. I have dabbled in altering which I really enjoyed and I also like to have a go at making my own embellishments.
I have 2 boys to scrap so tend to steer clear of anything too pink or girly, although I don't mind retro flowery or contemporay flowery.
I like to get messy with my scrapping and enjoy sanding, inking, dry brusing, & UTEE.
My fav styles of papers are Basic Grey - Vagabond & Black Tie especially. I like the heavier weight papers, chatterbox too as they are nice and distressable! My fav cardstock is DCVW - coz of the white core.

OKaaaaay, my likes and dislikes...

I LOVE Basic Grey papers - especially Motifica. I like patterned papaers in general and tend to favour delicate patterns, muted colours etc. Also like pretty vellums.

I LOVE embellishments! Eyelets, brads, fibres, ribbons, frames, buttons, rub-ons, flowers, you name it! Am slowly trying to build up a collection of nice rub-on and stamp alphabets so I don't have to try and print all my wording/titles etc.

I love the scrapgoods kits - they always have yummy papers and embellies and fab ideas for new techniques.. and the tools to try it.

I don't have any form of cutting (ie. Sizzix etc) machine as yet and I do like some of the dies you can get - especially the cut out alphabets..

Favourite themes at the moment are definitely heritage (just bought a load of yummy heritage embellies!), oriental and celtic.

I DON'T like anything too cutesy or cartoony... I prefer more "elegant"-style LOs. I don't have kids yet so "baby" "kids" "family" etc themed embellies etc are not much use to me.

Just joined a team and we thought i we hadn't already posted our likes/dislikes it would be a good idea!!
I'm fairly new to scrapping (only since Jan 05) and the reason I have started was my trip to NYC in Dec 04..I've got soo many photos and ickle souvenirs that I wanted to display them altogether..something I've been doing for a while with other photos but in those naughty sticky albums that will in time rot my lovely memories! So hence arrived here just looking for some inspiration and ended up hooked!

I love all the funky new papers like Gin X , Scenic Route, Arctic Frog, Chatterbox, Basic Grey ( especially vagabond and lollipop shoppe!) ...and of course Bazzill cardstock..(can't get enough of the texture..it's just so touchable!)..ooh and love vellum too!

Fave Colours, love anything except really bright primary colurs..(just not sure what to do with them!)

I'm too scared to try hand cutting titles yet so love alphabet anythings! Have got a few rubber stamp alphabets from my TTT kits, got a dymo and have just purchased MM Misunderstood (Correction:DH got me as easter egg..less calories..yum!)

I love funky ribbons (like mays arts ones) and gingham and spots..and can't get too much locally so ribbon always well received

I love different fibres..especially like the fuzzy and knobbly ones if you know what I mean!!

I've just discovered paint ..of the acrylic kind !..and have been playing nicely with this using it with my foam stamps to title and on cjs..haven't dared risk on a LO yet!

I have to hold my hands up to loving American Folk Arty type stuff, loads of gingham and schmutchsy quotes..Love it..

Oh yep.. I love quotes..to use on LO's and in cards..and compiling my own not so little notebook of these

Been scrapping since the beginning of 2005.

Will be scrapping the family as I have a lovely DH, two teenagers (one of each), and a b/w guinea pig.

I'm a paper addict - prefer elegant rather than loud, large patterns, not cutesy or glitter.

Colours: Love turquoise, blue and purple, not keen on green. Not really into heritage but I guess that's just cos I haven't started collecting together old family photos yet. Definitely not baby blue or baby pink even for baby pictures!

I do a little stamping & embossing, so bits to experiment are welcome.

I'm also a cardmaker :)

I'm a Catholic so scrap religious occasions, also we like history, castles and the like! I like dragonflies, dragons, SciFi... I like elegance and simplicity, less is more: don't like cutesy or cartoony, or frilly stuff.

Have just managed to figure out why I couldn't set eyelets for the past 2 years! (April 2006). It was the table that was too soft - go figure! .... Doh!

Like milk chocolate and chocolate mints (but am pleased by very little, cos mostly I have a healthy diet!). Use bath foam but not fancy soaps.

I have a Craft Robo and enjoy experimenting :)

Well, started scrapping last November and as at the 1st April 2005 I have only managed to do 4 paper layouts. My DOH bought me PSE3 at Christmas so majority of layouts have been digital. I have 4 cats but love all animals. We have 2 Birmans a female Seal Point called Willow and a Cream Point male called Toby. A British Shorthaired Golden called Oscar and an old Tabby called Eric.

Not sure if I have a favourite colour and I don't think there is a colour I don't like. I love lively vibrant colours and but also soft muted colours, stripes, dots, flowers, shabby chic I love them all. The only thing I am not really keen on is papers that have bunches of flowers on in dull colours that look like wallpaper.

Love K & Co, Basic Grey, SEI, oh so many lovely papers.

I love embellishments but find it hard to use anything am a definate hoarder.

Don't have any kids so don't need any baby things.

Love tags and cutting things out and making embellishments. Love Butterflies, Dragonflies and nature.

Can't think of anything else at present.

I have been scrapping for about 2 months now though have been a cardmaker for many years.... Slowly building up my scrapping stash....

I'm Becca, I'm 30 and married with 2 gorgeous boys (3yrs and 16mths) and we have 2 mad border-collie dogs.

I am scrapping a 12x12 album of my boys so at the moment do mainly things in primary colours or boyish colours; however, I have just sorted out my wedding photo's so plan a wedding album plus(!) have borrowed loads of family photos (me, db, dm, df etc...) to copy so I can add these to my album... so... any colours really!! I also like mini-books so may do some of these...
I have very few embellishments and so far, only one set of alphabet dies (sizzlits playground) so embellishments or alphabet letters would be well used.

No real dislikes as yet....

I like to do 12x12 albums, and so far anything goes ;), I don't have any form of cutting machine only ye olde trusty knife!! so tend to use rub on/stick on letters more than hand cut ones. Have yet to try embossing, but can't really afford to start with that yet. So far my stash seems very basic ie fibres, embellies and rub ons. Although have just bought myself a MM attachment. assortment but don't really know what to do with them :rolleyes: Would like to try inking and more chalking (only have pastel chalks at the mo).
I love eyelets, brads and snaps,but haven't got huge amounts.

Have no real dislikes at present although not really too keen on large foam things :blink: and am a bit unsure of die cuts (except alphabets).

Love red wine and chocolate, enjoy a good book, James Patterson being my fave (wish he'd hurry up and bring another one out). Fave places are Cornwall, Pembrokeshire and Portugal, although I just like going away!!

I have been a member of this site for about a year now, and have still yet to do this. My team members have suggested filling this in, as I never know what might happen :P

Well, don't really know how to begin really. Suppose I could just introduce myself a little?

OK here goes:

I am nearly 18 (19th April if you are interested :P) and I can't wait until my birthday! I am currently at college, for another 2 months....when I will (hopefully) become a qualified nursery nurse. In September I am going onto university to become a primary teacher...something else I can't wait for!

I LOVE music....my current obsession is Westlife! I go to loads of concerts each year, where I (literally) take hundreds of photos. The majority of my layouts are centred around concert photos.

I am a true girlie girl, and adore anything to do with; pink, glitter, sparkles, handbags, clothes, shoes.....in fact anything related to being a girl :D (Pink is my favourite colour!)

Besides scrapping, I have been making cards for about 4 years now. I like to keep things simple in both my cards and my layouts. Although, having said that, I love using different embellishments.

I mainly scrap in 12 x 12 but whilst making a "Baby's First Year" album for a friend, I have discovered 8 x 8 and I am in love with this size also.

I mainly scrap in pinks, purples and other girlie colours but, due to having so many concert photos that are lads, I cannot use these colours (which is so annoying!) so I also tend to use a lot of blues, greens and black.

I don't really like anything olde worlde, but I am rather interested in completing a heritage album with photographs of my great grandad's.

I use a lot of Bazzill Basics cardstock, and also love their embellishment range. I love chatterbox patterned papers, doodlebug, KI Memories and other grovvy patterns.

I have a sizzix and converter with plenty of dies and a couple of embossing folders...no alphabets as of yet. I also have a quickutz with a a couple of dies, a goosebump and Maggie alphabet.

Think that's enough about my scrapbooking now, for non-related things.

I am too keen on chocolate, would much rather have sweets. I like most sweets. (Don't like dark chocolate.) I love pampering myself in a bath, with lots of bubbles.

Hi - I'm Helen and just joined a new team - excited or what?
I'm 45 (said very quickly and quietly as I don't feel that grown up yet), been married for 22 years and have a 9 year old daughter.
I love different textured card and papers (larger pieces for scrapbooking and small bits for card making). My favourite papers are pastels - but just beginning to get the confidence to use brighter bolder colours.
All types of embellishments are wonderful - I haven't been scrapbooking for long so stash isn't vast (yet).
I've got a Sizzix - and a few odd dies - but am planning to get an alphabet set later this year.
My only real dislike is cartoony type papers and things - probably because I don't know how to use them effectively.

Daughter does lots of dancing and is taking an exam soon so anything connected with ballet or tap dancing would be good as is any alphabet stickers etc!!!!!!!!!!!!

Other than scrapbooking I enjoy reading ( especially Janet Evanovich!!) windsurfing and eating sweets love pear drops and rhubard and custard sweeties!!!!

This is me:

I am Celeste Slade - 36 years old soon, wife of almost 13 years to Alan (whom I met at Teacher's Training College) and mother to Nicholas (4.5 years) whom I absolutely adore. I work (full time) as a PA to a partner in a firm of chartered accountants.

I have only been scrapping since August 2004 but am totally and utterly devoted to this hobby which is a creative outlet for my sentimental side.

I scrap in 12 x 12, but am willing to experiment with different sizes - would like to do a couple of 6 x 6 books as gifts. As I have a son, all things relating to boys would be welcomed. I use every make of paper - as long as I like the look of it. Love dots & stripes and am slowly building up my stash of florals.

I have a good couple of heritage photos I wish to scrap, so any heritage items are always welcome. Love all sorts of embellishments. I am pretty easy to please as I don't have a vast collection of stash yet. I have no cutting tools, so I use alpabet rub-ons or stickers. Also don't own any rubber stamps yet.

I prefer brads to eylets/snaps. Love ribbon - especially gingham, dotty and the lovely double sided or stitched ribbon!! Have also discovered blossoms (although attaching them is still a challenge). Also don't mind coloured staples.

Not too fond of anything to glittery. Don't dislike anything with a passion - if anything I am up to the challenge of using it on a LO at some stage - have tons of photo's I want to scrap.

I am attempting to develop the shabby chic style.

Having been scrapping for a little while now I still have loads of photos to scrap - I'm currently working on our South America trip, and baby boy photos, plus some heritage stuff, and a bit of girly stuff for DD. :)

I love Bazzill and other plain, textured papers, stripes, dots, gingham and monochromatic flowers, some of my favourites are Scenic Route, Daisy Ds, some BG and, my favourite of all, Wild Asparagus. I'm also into atc's.

I don't do frilly or floral or lace really, and I don't like 'busy', bright primary, or too many colours patterns. I also don't like stickers or jolees type things. I'm not into Halloween either. Don't really like die-cuts either.

I love alphabets, rub-on, charms, monograms any really! - and could never have enough! I love tags, eyelets, but not novelty ones, and brads (plain, square or flower)

I am having a bit of a ribbon moment currently, and love metal things.

My favourite colours are blues, greens, turquoise and silver.

My name is Lisa and am 26 years old, been married for 5 1/2 years and have DS, Ethan, who is 4 1/2. I've been scrapbboking for 2 years now, although I had plenty of stash that I got from America 4 years earlier just never got round to starting :rolleyes:

I mostly scrap in 12x12 but do have a 6x6 book of me on the go aswell. I use Bazzill cardstock along with any pattened papers that I like the look of. At the moment I really like Basic grey, Sweetwater (have the monthly kit), Scenic route, Wild Asparagus, too many to mention but you get the picture.

My fave brands of embellisments are Prima - who doesn't like these flowers etc, Lil Davis and Heidi Swapp - will never have enough of her stuff. I also love ribbons, especially May Arts, American crafts and Maya Road.

I also love anything chipboard, I love the effect and have a nice collection growing :lol:

Also love to ink edges of papers etc and currently collecting Tim Holtz ink pads, also use the color box ones too.

My dislikes at the moment are, fibres, button, eyelets, stickers such as stickopotimus etc, but mainly because I have far too many of them :lol:

Hi, As I have just signed up to the RAK list and my first ever CJ as well as ATC swap I thought I had better list some likes/dislikes as well as a bit about me:) !

Just turned 44 (it's just a number!) been married to Brian coming up for 21 years!! and have one DD aged 19. We have 5 cats and 1 dog and I work f/t in a secondary school office. I've been doing scrapbooking on and off for about a year now - my first love is patchwork and quilting - although I'm seem to getting more 'arty farty' as I get older. I like creative embroidery, papermaking, felting you name it I'll have a go - I'm currently trying to remember how to crochet as it's been a looong time since my grandma showed me how.

Colourwise I pretty much like anything from autumnal to zing! (purple and orange together). I like vintage, shabby chic and embellishments, pastels not so much. The only thing I would say I would not like to see on any ATC's etc are clowns - I hate them they give me serious heeby jeebies, but otherwise I'm just happy to receive anything crafty which comes through my letterbox.

I have a daughter....I have only just started scrapping... so as it stands I have only done one page... as i havent got much stuff at the moment... I am doing a month per page for sophies first year... so 12 x 12 and anything girly... am after phrases to put next to her pic or .

I havent decided weather to use light/bright/dark shades yet.. so anything is fine!

Where to start?

My name is Lyn and I have definitely hit my next big "0" birthday whilst still feeling like a 20 year old :P With DH for 30 years and we have two children, DS at university, DD in the middle of her A levels and who dances practically every day of the week. All of whom I love to absolute pieces but all of whom periodically drive me NUTS. I work full time managing a large team, though sometimes it feels like the other way round! Have no siblings of my own, but cherish some very dear friends as if they were sisters.

My computer - which I have also named - it's called "mine" - and all things computing.

Digital photography and everything I can do on my computer with it plus old photos that I am busy collecting and scanning in to my computer.

Creating things - Over the years I have done most things to a greater or lesser degree - sewing, crochet, knitting, tatting, patchwork, embroidery, cross stitch. Recently moved onto scrapbooking, with card making as an add on.

AT THE MOMENT

I am scrapbooking my daughter's dance career from the age of 3 as a surprise memory album in time for her 18th birthday at the end of this year. On the look out for all things dance - tap, ballet, jazz, classical Greek, national, etc.

I also want to do some heritage pages soon of my parents, especially my beloved mom whom I lost to cancer, whilst I am still blessed with my dad so that he can help me share in the memories - 81 and going strong! :lol: So I am collecting all things heritage. Mom loved gardening and dad was in the navy during the war, so I am always on the look out for anything appropriate.

Also collecting baby paper and embelishments to start on my own family memory album before grandchildren arrive to divert me!

At some point I want to do a book of me, but, with everyone else's that I want to do, it seems so selfish to do me, if you know what I mean :P

I'm Ann Ive only been scrapbooking for a couple of weeks so everything is still new to me. I am struggling with some of the abbreviations but i have been adopted by traceyjohnson who i can turn to to ask for help.
I am married have been for 17 years have 2 sons age 13 and 16. We have a 500 acre dairy and arable farm. I stuggle to get scrapping stash as we dont have any local craft shops and the nearest hobbycraft is 2 1/2 hours away so i tend to purchase online.
I like most things dogs and disney things being my favorite as i have 5 labradors and a border terrier. Disney as we go there on holiday :)

I dislike girly stuff being a house dominated by blokes i dont have a use for girly stuff. Other than that i haven't been around scrapping long enough to have alot of dislikes.

Scrapbookwise I love most of it!! Not particularly a girly girl - not much pink and glittery in my studio !! I love browns and blues,love Gin X. Seven Gypsies and SEI especially I suppose...Love ink and paint and getting covered in paint and also love atc and altered art...so anything goes !!

Favourite colour would be blue or purple and I adore photography and music.. Oh and Starbucks and bubble baths !

I scrap 12x12. Haven't tried any other size yet. I love the retro style papers and contemporary designs. Any colours, I'm not too fussy! I like girly, pink and glittery, but not over the top! I want to get into using eyelets and tags. Am desperate to make some serendipity squares as I think they look gorgeous, but don't have a huge pile of scraps at the moment! I like stripes and dots too.

Not keen on flowery papers, dark colours but that's about it really. And not keen on bright, primary colours. Haven't done anything heritagey.

My taste ranges from Karen foster, SEI, Arctic Frog, Urban Lliy in fact all papers.. I love all sorts of embellishments charms, buttons, tags, flowers, fibre etc.
Also love all types of chocolate but my all time favourite is caramac (I know it's not really a chocolate) however do not like fruit soft centres, anything banana flavoured is yuk and haribo.

This is a bit about me:
I hate my user name on here, I didn't realise when I registered that it would show up everytime!:lol:
I'm married with 2DDs, 1stepDD and 1 step DS.

I like reading, watching some of the soaps, scrapbooking and I've done a bit of card making but never feels satisfied with the result so don't do that much anymore.

I've only done 12x12 LOs but I do have an 8x8 album and some cardstock that size now which I want to get around to using.

My favourite colours are pink, lilac, red, orange gold. But actually I like most colours. I love the duck egg blue/green colour that's popular at the moment and like it when it's with brown.

I love flowers of all kinds. I like biscuits, and in fact don't very often have a cup of tea without 1 or 2 and 1 or 2 in between aswell.

Most of my LOs have been of my children and I really want to do something different.

Been to Florida in January and haven't got around to scrapping the photos yet (too manhy of them) but that's my next project I think.

Like ribbons, charms, alphabets. eyelets, brads etc. Would like a few boy things as I've not done a boy LO yet even though I have my stepsDS and also 2 nehews!!

I have been scrapbooking since the end of last year and have managed to collect quite a bit of stash - not that I know what to do with it all!

I've mainly scrapped just my children and a family holiday all in 12x12, although I've just done my first paper bag book which was really enjoyable.

I live in Scotland and have an "other half" and two children - girl aged 6 and boy aged 4.

I'm too new to have decided on much in the way of likes/dislikes at the moment but I don't like anything too glittery/holographic or garishly bright and I'm not keen on really big flowery patterns.

I do like eyelets, brads, fibres, lettering (stickers and rub ons etc).

I've never done heritage.

I like 'arty' stuff and altered/collage type stuff.

I love red tones.

I LOVE Basic Grey (although I've only ever bought the Sublime range).

I'm coveting some of the Blue Cardigan Art Quotes papers (Renaissance etc).

I have quite a lot of girl stuff and not much boy stuff.

I've been scrapping for over 2 years now. I'm married with 2 young sons, 5 and 3and they are my main subjects for my LOs. Currently working on several themed albums and I tend to scrap mainly in 8.5x11" as I find that it suits my style although I use 12x12 papers & cardstock.

Writing down my preference for the benefit of a birthday swap that I've entered.

To make it easier for my swappee:
I would like a mini kit made to the amount given. Currently lacking in Basic Grey Baby Boy collection. You can skip the cardstock as I much rather have more patterned papers. Luv alpha rubons or even patterned rubons! And of course bits of embellishment. Not so bothered if they don't come from a full pack. Much prefer an array of bits to play with. Luv chocolates as well, especially Cabury Biscuit Bar (sp? God! can't even spell my fav choc)

That was easy wasn't it? :) I much rather get something I want than be surprised with something I don't fancy!

As a bit of background, I am 35, married and with a little boy (born 2003). I am originally from Mexico but have been in the UK for 9 years - it is COLD here... but I do like Milton Keynes and, except for the fact that we don't seem to have any scrapping shops around and that the sun never comes out, I think it's the perfect place to live in the UK.

I have been scrapping for ages, practically forever, but been doing it 'properly' with archival methods for around 7 years. I am generally a simple scrapper and use mostly paper, cardstock and word stickers with the ocasional charm or ribbon. I work mainly on 12x12 but have been known to do the ocasional mini-book, and I'm loving accordion books at the moment.

My likes:
*SEI simple sets: I have lots of them now but I do like their simple, graphic style.
*DCWV: I really like the entire line of papers, cardstock, words, etc.
*Other brands I also use are Chatterbox, Doodlebug, AMM, Scenic Route and Bazzill
*MM metal embellishments in pewter, mostly around the boy or love theme
*mini books in neutral colors
*homemade mini books I really love
*brads, eyelets or snaps in metallic colors
*neutral ribbons
*Zig writers: I have lots and lots of these but can always use more. I have all the millennium pens in black, too.
*I like stickers and rubons with words on them on the boy, friendship or love themes, I also use lots of alphabet letters
*chalk inks in blues and browns
*I don't have too many embellishments so I'm up for surprises, too!

My albums are mainly based around the here and now so not much heritage scrapping going on. I do lots of boy pages but also holiday ones and 'every day life' ones. I love journalling and almost always do it by hand as I'm far too lazy to do it with a computer.

As for non-scrapbooking things: I love chocolate, wine, Indian food, watching movies and reading (mainly non-fiction). I really hate Marmite...

I am VERY easy to please - live in the middle of nowhere and only get up to the craft shop once in a while! There seems to be NO bazzill north of Edinburgh!!!!?????

Once my wee ones are in bed I tend to disappear off to my craft room - (or more recently log on here!!!) for the night - my other half is a chef and works most nights - we do miss him but I guess I am getting used to it by now - just glad to have found such an enjoyable hobby & a great bunch of people - thank you!!!!

I have 2 little girls - aged 2 & 1 - so love anything girly!

I am really getting into altering and making mini books.

I love my 2 pet guinea pigs - but have yet to come across any appropriate crafty stuff for them!!

As you may have guessed - I love anything to do with the toothfairy!

The only thing i could possibly say was a dislike would maybe have to be cats - they make me sneeze & wheeze! Nothing against them - they are cute & furry and all - just don't think they'll ever appear on one of my layouts!!

Oh - and I just don't do peel-offs! Sorry, they go all bent & stick together and they're just not me!!

Okay - well I think that's that! Just have to figure out the technical bit now!!

Hi since I am taking part in the birthday swap I thought I better think of things that I like/dislike.

I am 36 and married with 2 DD's aged 6 and nearly 3. Therefore, lots of girlie LO's. We love the Lake District.

My favourite colour is turquoise.

I am not into heritage yet - I don't have many heritage photos so don't feel the need to scrap that way.

I've been scrapping since Nov 04 so still quite a newbie but really enjoy it got into it through cardmaking which I started in Jan 04.

I don't like neon orange/green but I do like strong colours - red is one of my other favourites.

I don't think I am particularly fussy I love Ki Memories collections and doodlebug all mixed up rub ons - nice and fresh and funky.

I'm 35 and have been scrapping for about 12 months. I started cardmaking about 2 years ago. I have two sons, and a lovely husband, who currently works away, so I don't see him as often as I'd like. We have two cats, and a black labrador called Ace.

Likes - I love just about anything, except 'flourescent' colours. I seem to do loads of blue - probably 'cos of the boys. I love eyelets and brads and have a mountain of fibres. I also adore the Chatterbox stuff. I have a Sissix, and a Sidekick, which don't get used as much as they should. I love Prima's, especially the pastelly colours.

I am a chocoholic, and recently discovered Green & Blacks - mmmmmmm!

I dislike very little.

I like most things, but at the moment I'm very keen on floral, collage and vintage.

I like altered things, especially ATCs and slide mailers.

I love Basic Grey, the Black Tie and Urban Couture ranges are probably my favorites.

I love K&Co things, I could look at them for hours in the shops lol.

I like eyelets, brads, metal things...in fact I can't really think of anything I don't like.

Hi everyone

I live in Largs on the west coast of Scotland with my DH and two children....son aged 8 and daughter aged 5

I work part-time in an office in Glasgow three days a week and try to fit my scrapping in in the evenings, normally v late at night!

I have tons and tons of photos to scrap...including a lot of heritage photos from both sets of grandparents, as well as me when I was "wee" :lol: Lots of photos of the kids plus a whole lot of photos from our "once in a lifetime" trip to disney....we're going back next year !!! :lol:

I was obviously meant to scrapbook as I have lots of ticket stubs (including almost every ticket from every film myself & DH have been to see since we've been together ... almost 19 years now!!!!!) leaflets, plane tickets, newspaper clippings etc. So now I have something I can do with them all...in theory anyhow!

Love rubber stamping and plan to use more in my scrapbooks so I also love ink pads, embossing powders etc
I have girls and boys pages to do, I like scrapping nature stuff too,also like retro patterns.
Love cardstock in all shades, buttons,ribbons, love love love brads and sparklies.
BG is a big favourite of mine and I also love alphabets of all types
I don't have a die cutter of any sort.
I have not ventured much into the distressed stuff yet but want to give it a go,
Colours i dont like are bright primarys such as orange, yellow and lime.
I do 12 by 12. Don't need anymore fibres:)

Ithought it was about time Igot around to doing this. I like most things ,a real favourorite would be brads any shape or colour, alphabet stickers is another favourite.12x12 papers and 6x6, pretty or bright colours,
I haven't got a lot of use for pink as I have 2 sonsand Iam not keen on bulky embelishments.
I like smelly candles ,but not musk or vanilla,they give me a headache,
I don't like dark chocalate or any chocalate with nuts in.
shower gel and talc is another favourite,once again not musk or vanilla.just thought I would add we haven't got a bath so no bubble bath please.
I don't need any fibres I have got lots that I have not used yet.
Another hobby of mine is sewing and machine embroidery,


I have just discovered 8x8 and find these easier than the 12x12 to scrap, also dog related items, especially westie things, I have a cat as well so cat things would be usefull.

Hi, I'm Cath and thought it's about time I put something in this box LOL. I'm 42 and married to David with a daughter Laura who will be 5 this October, and son Paul who will be two in April.

I'm pretty much middle of the road as far as it goes - nothing too extreme for me. Most of my scrapping revolves around Laura and Paul so we do like pinks, lilacs, blues, purples and sparkly stuff.

I need to experiment more with embellishments esp charms and ribbons etc. I like stamped images of wordies and their definitions as like a dictionary, and quotes that I might use can be PM'd to me........like "the first man a girl falls in love with is her daddy"........and "sometimes it's the smallish things that take up most space in your heart" that kind of thing. Tags.

I like getting PM's......*take note*

Anything I don't like?........masks or anything that covers part of the face or the modern art stuff where the eye (or one of the eyes) is in the forehead - YNWIM? I don't do any heritage yet, nor cats / dogs.

I figured I ought to get around to putting my likes and dislikes on this thread...

It is pretty simple really - I like masses of different things and dislike very little!

I am currently working on scrapping an enormous collection of Florida \ Disney holiday photos and I had a baby Girl (Isabelle) on 4th June 2005 so baby pictures of her are pretty high up on my list of things to scrap! I also want to do something with a lot of wedding photos I have and photos from various holidays in the past.

I love interesting embellishments like shaped or patterned brads and eyelets, I collect rub ons like they are going out of fashion (ok maybe they already have but I don't care!) a girl can never have too much patterned paper or plain cardstock and I am actively trying to widen my range of styles so pretty much anything goes!

Metal is lovely, as are blossoms, ribbons and fibres. I also adore getting handmade items which people have made either in swaps \ pifs or RAKs - bought stash is lovely but something which has been made for you is just extra special :wub:

The only thing I don't really use on my LO's is cartoony things (except for Disney things on Disney layouts!)

Hmmm think thats it for now, will edit this post if i remember anything else!

I love photography with a passion and also various forms of craft so scrapbooking combines both!

I love most colours but tend not :nono: to choose greens and browns too often. I suppose my fave colours are blues pinks and purples.

I always struggle with titles or little sayings to put onto my LOs but have no trouble in waffling on with the old journalling.

I am a Christian and involved with the youth worship team at my Chrurch (URC)

I have a sizzix and a few dies as well as a Big Shot

My favourite papers at the moment are basic grey :wub: but I buy all sorts depending on what takes my fancy. I tend not to buy too much pink as with 3 sons I rarely get a chance to use it.

I do dabble in digi Los but much prefer gettin my hands dirty, so to speak, with the 'real' thing!

I love trying out new things and techniques so am always on the lookout for 'how to do things'!! :lol:

I am always on a diet as I'd love to lose some weight but being a chocoholic it is hard!! (so I do eat chocolate!! but don't tell anyone! :lol: )

I have sensitive skin and so have to be very careful with the bath and shower products I use. Love body shop stuff as it doesn't seem to affect my skin

That's all i can think of for now, but will edit if I have written too much or left anything out!

OK Here are my likes and stuff then:

I have twins who will be 7 in July. One boy (Daniel) & one girl (Rachel). I have loads of stuff that I can use for a girl, but not much for a boy. Always like to see the geometric shapes on paper (you know the stuff that looks great for boys), but rarely see them for sale or have the courage to buy. I think brads and eyelets - fancy or plain are brill, but do seem to use them on MOST of my pages - still consider myself a newbie as Bonanza was my first properly completed pages! Like embellishments of most sorts, but have grown out of wooden shapes.

I scrap in 12 x 12 but have bought DD a smaller (8 x8) album for her birthday as she is interested in doing it as well.

I make my own cards, so anything useful for them would be handy.I have neither a sissix or QK and am hoping to get a robocraft thingy for Christmas/birthday for the next 10 years! Always in need of lettering.

I have numerous pages of Basic Grey and Provocraft. Basic Grey because they were in a sale. Don't kow what to do with some of them!! and Provo becasue they were such great value in USA last year.

DO NOT WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH HALOWEEN, WITCHES, GHOSTS OR SIMILAR.

Would love to join a team and swap stuff and meet up with other people locally who may like to spend some day-time to scrap (but I only have 1 day off mid week at the moment).

Would dearly love some more time to scrap - could really do with persuading the head at school to let me do scrapbooking classes instead of teaching maths. Can't see it happening though!

Have done a 12x12 album, several CJs and am now playing in 8x8, but I plan to do much more in 12x12 in the future!

I'm 31, live in Shrewsbury with my DH. We don't have kids at the moment but adore our 2 cats (who occupy the status of children!)

It's easier to list my dislikes: really girly stuff; 'super' floral paper; foam embellishments;

Likes: Brads; hinges/label holders etc; 'general' metal embellishments; all BG (but lots of other printed papers, too!!); ribbon; chipboard letters (don't have any as yet); prima flowers (although I have some of the darker colours); would like to play with some small, coloured beads. (Having just hosted a novelty brad swap, I have a good range of hearts and flowers).

I don't have a sizzix or quikcutz, so dies and alphabets always gratefully received!

I have a good range of fibres and card making supplies (i.e. ink pads; embossing powders; A4 paper/card; eyelets)

Being relatively new to scrapping, I don't have a very broad collection at the moment, so am really grateful for anything!

I have sensitive skin, so I don't go mad on smellies (although I love shea or cocoa body butter from body shop!). TRYING to be on a diet, so trying to avoid too much chocolate!!

I'm not into altering.

Likes :P Anything to do with boys/brothers, etc., I am currently doing an album for my sister who died of cancer a couple of years ago (so anything girly especially 70's and 80's). I love embellies, fibres, ribbons, buttons, etc, (wouldn't turn down anything) I prefer to scrap 12 x 12 and sometimes 8 x 8.

:unsure: I would love to try vintage pages as well, but not sure where to start.

Dislikes :nono: I don't think there is anything I would dislike as I would give anything a go before I totally rule it out. I Don't have pets and my boys have grown up so nothing baby.

In summary I like everything especially surprises!!!!

About me

I began scrapbooking in june of 2005 after having received an email containing a picture of my very first great nephew. I wanted to give mum and dad something they could keep and found a scrapbooking feature in a craft book. I tried it and here I am! :)

I'm 45, divorced but happily living with my partner who indulges my hobbies (bless him he's a star) and who is still in the process of lining and insulating a brand new shed which is to be our hobby shed (whoohoo! can't wait for it to be finished). Anyone got a spare cattle prod they want to RAK ;)

I have two daughters aged 24 and 21. My oldest passed her degree with a 2.1 in July 2005 and my youngest is mum to my little grandson aged 3 in january 2006.

I have 3 dogs which I used to show but I have now retired them from the show ring due to work commitments. I enjoy all kinds of crafts and have probably tried them all in my time *grin* . I have tended to hop about from craft to craft as my attention span wanes after a few weeks but scrapping seems to be the craft that is holding my attention as it combines so many of my interests together.

My main interest is to produce my families history in scrapbook form as I have been tracing my family history for over 3 years now. I have some very old victorian pics of my greatgreat grandparents which I have recently scrapped and have loads more old family pics to do LO's for. Just wish I could find more time.

I love the dictionary definitions and phrases that can be bought(but not those very slushy or religious types).

I started scrapbooking at the beginning of this year and my stash is growing very quickly. I have 2 children Ally who is 2yrs and Keir who is 2 months, both Boys :) I am working on albums for them both so love all blue boys stuff. My DH is in the RAF and football mad so most of my layout of him involve these things. I have recently got a Zipemate but only own 4 dies so far :( I am also working on an albums 8"x8". A baby album for my sister, but we dont know the sex of the baby.

I love everything to do with scrapbooking. I love fibres, and ribbons - i dont have alot of ribbon. buttons, eyelets. I have got a silent setter which I love. paper, card stock - i dont have any 8x8 card stock yet so am cutting up my 12x12 stuff :( I have just started using basic grey and really liking that. Beads, embellishment- all of them, rub ons. I struggle to make nice titles for my layouts, i love letters words to help with this. Flowers... would love some blue flowers.
None scrapbooking stuff- Chocolate, but it has to be milk chocolate and no nuts or alchol. Sweets. love baking and unusal cookie cutters, and smellys.

Dislikes - Green, dont like the colour to much and i dont like peel offs and stickers. candles aswell. Apart from that im greatful for anything :)

I'm Amy, I was 25 in August and I have a dog and three gerbils...no children though....

I've been scrapping since christmas 2004 but was a card maker before that so I have managed to acquire quite a lot of stash...

I love anything metal...brads, eyelets, clips, pinwheels, charms...all that kind of stuff....I usually prefer silver to gold but I dont mind really.

I have now decided that I like buttons so would love some of them!

I love ribbons and have especially fallen in love with dotty and stripey ribbons recently....

I love papers and have loads but a girl cant get too much paper right?! My favs at the moment are urban lily, BG, sassafras lass, cherry artes, chatterbox...and anything funky. I really like all the retro stuff that is about right now and I'm using a lot of brown, pink, blue and green....I do also like bright funky stuff..... (DCWV!!! :D:D) and of course...paisley :D:D

I'm not keen on anything too girly or flowery...although blossoms are always good....I have two sisters and no brothers so I dont do masculine LOs very often....although I'd like to (dad just doesnt do photos!). I dont like overly sentimental stuff...all the slushy stuff really...dont like cartoony stuff much eiher...I'm not overly keen on k&co stuff either...

I like stamping and embossing...I like shrink plastic, blossoms you can pull apart, bookrings (I cant find them here!), Makins clay, acrylic paint, ink pads, distressing things, altering things, bazzill (dont we all!)....I guess I could always do with more herma refills (temp & perm), grip seal bags.

I like milk or white chocolate...not dark...I dont like chocolate with alcohol or coffee in it either....not keen on almonds either. I love bathy stuff....

i like to try everything and im not fussy on colours really at all as its always useful to have different colours in for all different photos i have to scrap. i love embelishments and have never really seen any I dont like! I always find that you can never have enough in :P

i dont have either qk or sizzix as my DH would go mad if i started to spend money on collecting the dies.

I have been scrapping for over a year now and just love it.

i also love all chocolate you just cant go wrong with it in anyway!!

other wise i like eveything you just cant go wrong with me :) i really cant think of anything else.

My "real" name is Delyth (welsh) I am 42 with an 19 year old daughter who is in Manchester University. I am a radiographer in a busy general hospital in charge of orginising training for all staff including sorting out NVQ's in the department teaching undergraduate students and finding the money from various sources to pay for the training.
I have a cute little kitten Milo who has me wrapped around his paw
I only started scrapbooking this year but already have lots of paper and cardstock, my biggest weakness is embellishmnets any sort and I dont know why because I am never sure how to use them but I think that is because I just dont have enough :lol: I love my prima flowers and have recently got into altering things and paper bag books. Ribbons , braid and fibres are another weakness but again never sure what I do with them
I dont really use pre made die cuts since I have got my craft robo I tend to cut my own, acrylic paint and chalk ink pads are my latest thing

I haven't discovered my "scrapping style" yet I tend to do all sorts love heritage LO's and am lucky enough to have quite a few old photos and I love Basic Grey and junkitz papers and embellishments. Dont really have any dislikes but I don't seem to be drawn to very floral papers bit of a plain jane me

Away from scrapping bubble bath is a weakness you can never have enough bubble bath is my motto as my bathroom cabinet will testify :lol: I love shortbread choclate of any kind and kendel mint cake though I do try to keep away as once I start on them I find it very hard to stop. I like DIY but DD keeps hiding the hammer and I would like to do more gardening but the garden I have is so big it gets a bit daunting

My fave scrapping colours are greens, blues and muted colours. I tend not to use yellows, oranges or bright colours so much.

I like traditional, vintage and modern designs but not the retro look really

I love inks, papers and embellishments of any sort, brads, buttons and and rub-ons

I have quite a lot of fibres and ribbons already but I love patterned black ribbon which I can't seem to find here anywhere.

I went through a real sticker phase but don't use them much at the moment except for the letter ones. I think I over dosed on them too early on :) I'm the same with eyelets as well and don't tend to use them anymore

We have no pets so most of my LOs are of my children or family events. We have had a Wedding and a new baby in the family this year both of which I will be scrapping

I have 12x12 and 6x6 sized albums.

Non scrapping likes include: anything pig related (I love pigs!) "natural" smellies like the ones from Lush and funky keyrings (the kids nick all mine for their school bags)

Hi my name is Moira aka Tuesday I am 45 widowed(almost 11 years) and have one beautiful daughter called Catherine who is 14.

I have been scrapping for about 7 months so still learning the ropes and gaining confidence. Havent done card making so just building my stash up.

I love most things but prefer pastel colours. Love embellishments, ribbons, fibres, quotes, anything really. About to start widening my scope and experimenting with inks, stamps, chalks etc.

Have a book on the go about my daughter starting from her birth and am gathering pictures and memorabelia so I can do a book on me. I also plan to do a book for my niece and give it to her on her graduation(dentist) next year.

I love my family and friends, Christmas, being by water, holidays(especially in Miami) watching sunrises and sunsets, dancing(especially french jive), going out, wimbledon, football(evertonian)

We dont have any pets at the moment.

I love raspberry ruffles, chocolate eclairs, bounty bars and picnics in fact chocolate!!!!

This is a bit tricky, trying to pin down in a few sentences dislikes/likes, but I'm the sort of person who loves most things.

I'm a traditionalist at heart and don't like the 'very American' things and non-UK words like Mom, etc.

I shall be 43 in July and am married with 1 son (8) and 2 daughters (11 & 4) to keep me busy. We also have a cat.

I like both calm, natural, elegant lo's and the really collagey ones. In the future I'd like to have a go at vintage lo's. Main lo's are 12 x 12, but I have smaller albums to fill in the future. My son is keen on green and dd's like blue and pink.

My stamp collection is growing, but I don't have many inks yet. I have chalks and lots of fibres and I love most card and papers. I use stickers and embellishments.

Our main holidays are beachy, but I love scenery and architecture too.

The family are fairly active and DH is involved with a local cricket team and he is also a keen supporter of Reading FC.

Non-scrapping I guess I like anything.

Hi everyone!

I'm Jen, I'm 21 and am a medical student in Leeds (although i come from Essex).
I've just got engaged to my lovely fiance Michael, so am really looking forward to doing lots of wedding-related LOs!

I've been scrapping for a few months, so my stash is building up slowly! I scrap mainly in 12x12 but have recently done some 8x8 LOs which i love! I enjoy using bright colours particularly pink but there aren't any colours that i don't use really! My LOs are often of holidays and friends; i don't really know any babies so i wouldn't use baby things (at the moment!). I have a dog who is a real poser, tropical fish and a tortoise. I enjoy scuba diving so i have quite a lot of underwater photos. This year I've been to New York, Salzburg in Austria and Malta so I've got LOs in the running from all those places!

I love ribbon and ric rac, rub-ons, brads and metal embellishments. I have a growing obsession with patterned paper! I do have plently of ink pads but not a huge number of stamps (I love unmounted stamps, especially alphabets!). I have just tried chalk ink and love it! I love using blossoms on my LOs but i don't have any Prima flowers yet :o My favourite brands are KI Memories and Doodlebug, I also really like Junkitz papers and am becoming braver with Basic Grey but there aren't any brands i dislike!

There isn't anything i can think of that i wouldn't try using on a LO, i love the challenge of a new idea or product.

I'm also a big fan of chocolates of any kind and anything indulgent!

I'm afraid I have a hatred of pink although have used it on some very cute baby pics of F - she'll get me for that when I least expect it.

I also do rubber stamping and enjoy making cards - when time allows. I have a fair collection of stamps - everything from American Football - 1920s hats - Mickey Mouse!

Am just starting on the CJ route and hope to get involved in more in the future.

Have the usual like of chocolate - dark and milk but not white but having a very sensitive nose have a serious aversion to smellies and bath products. Faith is a leukaemia survivor so we have to be careful of her skin too.

Am a HUGE NFL fan (American football in case it means nothing to you) and am in mourning for my beloved Claymores who ceased to exist in October last year. My American team are the Green Bay Packers for my sins. Almost but not quite last season!

Hi my name is Ann.

I am scrapping two sizes at the moment 12 x 12 and 8 x 8. I am in love with the distressed look, basic grey, junkitz etc, I love muted colours, really love the arty and collagey look, although I never seem to get it right,not that keen on really bright or primary colours. I have one son who is 16 and I am currently working through his childhood photographs, so blue seems to be the predominent colour in my life at the moment. I love ribbons and fibres, brads, eyelets and metal embellishments. I love alphabets and have most of the foam stamps, rub on alphabets and sentiments. I would love some heritage style bits/papers for an 8 x 8 album I am doing for my mum. My husband recently built a kit car and I am doing an album for him about the build, so anything car/motoring/mechanical would be great. I am about to start on an album from a 3 week trip we did round California and Disneyland, looking forward to that one. So any America/Disney bits would be lovely. I absolutely love making paperbag books. I have also started altering bits and pieces, atc's, journals, lunch tins, clipboards etc.

I really dislike anything overly shiny or holographic, I really don't like the colour orange, sequins, beads or stickers apart from some of the alphabet stickers.

Non scrapping likes are, chocolate :rolleyes: , smellies, any except fruity smelling ones, I don't wear much make-up, apart from mascara and lipstick and occasionally nail varnish. I love anything hugely cute and cuddly. I love reading (favourites are Harry Potter series and Discworld series by Terry Pratchett, although I haven't had any of the recent ones) and watching movies, I love a good comedy. :)

I work from home as a childminder and we have one Springer Spaniel, so also have lot's of photo's of her to scrap as she is 13 years old.

I thought that I'd join in as well. My name is Kirsten, I'm 34 years old, have a husband called Chris been together for 10 years and married for 3) and one little boy, who's just about to turn one, called Martin. I have two cats. One black one called Merlin and the other who is ginger and called Roushan (this means sunshine in Persian).

I've been scrapping for about a year and a half as I statered when I was pregnant with Martin. As you can probably tell, most of my pages are of him just now, but I am trying to get round to the rest of the photos that I have. I mainly scrap 12x12, but am having a go at 6x6 and 8x8 as well.

I've just started getting involved in circle journals and am really enjoting that so far. My favourite colour is purple, but I like most colours. I'm not that keen on the very cute or overly floral. At the moment, my favourite papers are basic grey (love that stuff), GinX and junkitz which I am just discovering. I am trying to get more adventurous when it comes to patterns and think that I'm getting there. I love eyelets of all sorts, also brads, ribbon, buttons, fibres,......need I go on? You can never have enough embellishments!

When I'm not scrapping (and have a spare moment- not many of those just now) I make cards, occasionally cross stitch. I love anything chocolate, especially dairy milk and caramel, which is why I'm not a size 10! I also love to cook and am trying to do more new recipes to keep things varied. I love to read, mainly crime thrillers just now, and watching films-Jonny Depp is wonderful!

Hi, i'm pretty easily pleased. I like almost anything apart from rub-ons. I just can't seem to get on with them. They always look a mess when i do them.
I love embellishments and papers of all kinds and cos money is really tight at the moment, i've become a bit of a scrounge, and i love a bargain and a freebie. I also love the idea of ATC's and all the altered stuff on here although i have yet to do something about it.
I read in a post yesterday that someone spent £250 a month on scrapping. An absolute dream come true. I'm lucky if i get a fiver a week. (Money really is that tight) But with what little i do have i don't think my LO's are too bad.
I'm working on a 12x12 album at the moment and also a mini album for my first grandchild. Have made an accordion book and lots of cards which i sell.
Not joined any cj's or swaps yet but just give me time.
I also need lots of help with making titles so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, and i will have a go at anything and everything.

I'm mum to Connor who is 5 in November and completely adorable( but I'm biased ) and wifelet to Tony for 6 years who is wonderful. He decked out our spareroom as a scraproom for me, with all the workbeches, and shelving I could wish for. And before you ask...NO he doesnt have a brother !!! I know how lucky I am.

We also have two lazy mogs called Dillon and Balloo ( notice the sign on) They are Birmans and completly Gorgeous, Balloo sleeps 23 hours and 50 minutes of the day, and Dillon lives on his nerves...How opposite can you get !

I Adore...paper , i tend to work in 12 x 12. I also adore metal charms, buttons, ribbons, brads, snaps,crystals, fibres, flowers, ephemera, bright colours, muted colours, heritage, funky, plain, brights, sissix,

I am a true Taurus and love anything that has depth of colour, looks and feels rich in texture and feel. I am fairly easy to please as you can see from the above. I like containers for things. Tony calls them my handy little pots " you never know when you might need that pot " he says !!!! I like to keep all my bits and pieces in their own little " pots "!

I bet you think my scraproom is nice and tidy, Oh No....everything is in pots, which I can't find because it is such a mess.....I'm sure there's a warped logic in there somewhere !!!

On my wish list I would put all of the above items, world peace, to have a size 12 waist and to win the lottery!!!

I love K & Co, Karen Foster and AMM in particular but anything and everything will do. Just getting into brads and eyelets as well. nI'm also starting to develop an unhealthy fetish for Basic Grey and altering board books. Daisy D's has also made its way onto my radar!

I'm a musician so anything musical always goes down a treat, and I also LOVE rubber stamping! I particularly like Hero Arts, Dawn Bibby and Penny Black - and anything to do with music or postal art!

Not overly keen on baby stuff as I'm still childless at the moment so don't have that much need for it but stuff to do with writing, journalling and dogs and cats are always appreciated. I also love nice writing paper and anything to do with guides and brownies (I'm a guider!)

My fave colours are red, black, forest green and rich purples. I don't wear a huge amount of makeup as my job (being a dentist) doesn't really allow it. I'm married to Ian and to be honest I just like life!

Thought I'd decide to do my likes/dislkes, as it is quiet - everyone in bed !!!!!

Well, here goes ....... I have only just started getting into scrapping, so don't actually have enough stash yet (awwww !!!). Haven't done any lay-outs, but hoping to soon !!!!!

At the moment, I am into card-making, decoupage, tea-bag folding, and I also like to do cross stitch.

I am 32, married to Jason (34) and I have 2 kids - Daniel (4) and Callum (2 and-a-half). Don't really get much "me time" as Callum doesn't like me doing anything which doesn't involve him !!!!!

Anyway, I have to say, I don't think I have any dislikes !!!!!! although I don't really *get on* with eyelets ! I like anything and everything, regardless of colour !!!!!

I am particularly keen on the shaped / novelty brads and the patterned / printed ribbons.

I Do not own a die-cutting machine. At the moment, I am trying to build up my stash of scrapping materials, so if anybody out there would like to take pity on me .........................................

Haven't seen anything I don't like although not keen on 'old fashioned floral/victorian' designs. Love scenic route,junkitz stuff, basic grey,doodlebug & sei. try to cram on as much as possible onto a LO:) Rub ons are great as are photo anchors. love chipboard lots!!!!

I don't really use pink and frilly overly fussy things. I don't really 'do' heratiage stuff or stickers of any sort!

I love anything sparkely - the more sparkle the better. I am getting into embelishments and ribbons/fibers.

I make cards too so I love all sorts of sequins (with or without holes) and beads of all colours!

Just received my first list :D so here's a bit about me.

I am 25 years old and have been married to my husband Jody for two years in October.

I don't have any kids and don't want and kids. My babies are my two border collies (see avatar) Chester and Homer.
I also have rats and degus, and as an amateur entomologist have loads of creepy-crawlies such as stick insects, snails, spiders, beetles etc. :)

I am now sticking with 12x12 scrapbooking, so papers are good, as are any embellishment - especially dog or bug related ones. As mentioned before - I love embellishments!!! I use all sorts - ribbon, brads, eyelets...if it can be stuck on a bit of paper, I will stick it on a bit of paper! My only subject that I scrap are my dogs, but I've managed to incorporate loads of different things in the layouts. I always need texts, so sticky/non sticky letters, quotes, saying etc are good. And after yesterdays howling success, I am in love with Fimo clay :rolleyes: Also always on the lookout for Dymo tape :)
Don't do chocolates, but treats for the dogs go down well. :rolleyes:

Always need insects/spider/snail etc themed stuff as I scrap them too!

Where to start, my names Lisa-Jayne (L.J.) hence user name ellejay. Im 34, live wth hubbySte and two boys, James (2.5) and Joshua (5mnths). Have a crazy weimeraner and a three legged cat. (dont ask!)

Im new to scrapbooking but went stash crazy and spent loads on stuff ill prob never use. Im stricy 12 x 12 and I love basic grey and autumn leaves (rhonna farrer). also Karen Foster and daisyD. use all types of embelishments - gotta have metal, fibre, ribbon, tags, rub-ons..... love my stash. use acrylics, chalks, love distressed looks.
Id like the simplest of things should the mood take anyone.... info! How to curl and ink paper to age it, where to get chipboard letters, how to make mini tag books to add to a page - any ideas really - so easily pleased.

I dislike foam squidgy bits, loud colours - fushias, reds, pre cut shaped embelishments....cakes cats boats etc

Fave colours are pastels, all shades of blue (but navy) - baby, aqua, denim, sky. earth tones, creams, browns, sage greens,

My name is Becs. I am 29 and live in Carshalton, Surrey. I grew up in the states, and married Stu and followed him home to the UK! I have a daughter, Alyssa, who is now three and a half.
Scrapping is my passion and I spend most evenings doing something with my crafty things. I love pink and purple, but use most colours really. I am currently going through a pink/brown/dark green / black stage. But I like a challenge so that I cna scrap outside my comfort zone!! I use brads and eyelets a lot as I am slightly addicted to them! I seem to be constantly running out of small brads!
My tastes are quite varied, but I am not overly keen on heritage papers.

the ongoing album for my little girl, lots of bright colours, flowers, kiddy sort of look to it
a memory album of my mother. She died when i was 2.5 my family are writing their memories and stories for me, sending me photos and I am making an album for me and one for my brother. probably slightly muted tones but also maybe more 60s/70s feel to it.

our trip to India and our trip to Kenya for a safari(pre baby!!)


I love things that are handmade, rubons, itty bitty things to go on pages, chalk eyes, letter sets of any sort.

My name is Tracey (26) and I live in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

I have various12x12 scrapbook albums on the go at the moment:

:wub: Having recently got married in June this year I need to start my wedding album (which will be themed around burgundy, ivory and silver), I also had two honeymoons where I accumulated over 900 photos!!!! My first mini-honeymoon was in the Lake District and the LOs for these piccies will be based on a pale green and blue theme. My real honeymoon was in Taba, Egypt and I’m going to use mainly blues, greens and yellows for this album, as we stayed at a Red Sea beach resort.

Although I do not have any small people in my life at the moment I do have six dogs, who are my babies. I have just started a new album on them - although all my LOs have a little bit of them attached somehow (fur, pawprints!!). :rolleyes:

Another album I am working on a the moment is a Family Album – this so far has included heritage pages and modern pages – this album will be a mixture of all sorts.

All-in-all I think it would be save to say I would find a use for anything, and at the moment I do not have any definite dislikes.

I DO NOT have a style – well if I have I haven’t found it yet!! :)

My stash includes loads of plain ribbons, but not very many patterned ribbons or fibres. I have more fabric, flat padded flowers than I could ever use, but am only just starting out with a collection of blossoms. I have a whole drawer full of peel-offs, but hardly any rub-ons. I do not need any glitter, embossing powders, or ink pads. A girl can never have too many scrapbook papers!! I luuuvvvvv words and alphabets.

I am trying to loose weight so chocs and sweets are a no-no!! :nono:

Hello I've been on here quite a while now and it's high time I submitted my likes/dislikes as I have signed up for the next birthday swap.

I'm 41 with a DH who loves golf and football and two lovely children: a 12 year old girl who's horse mad - and a 9 year old boy with the same interests as his Dad (cept he prefers Playstation to the pub!).

I particularly like the Basic Grey, Chatterbox and SEI papers at the moment. I prefer earthy/pastel tones to brights. I like the shabby chic look and vintage/heritage and Tim Holtz stuff, but also like travel themes and stuff to scrap kids photos. Also like girly handbags and shoes. I would really like to try out canvas paper. Love embellishments and brads, eyelets etc. Love stamping and particularly like collage stamps - have loads of inks. I am also the proud owner of a Quickutz.

I scrap in 12x12 usually but also love the little accordian type booklets and am enjoying being involved in my first CJ at present.

I don't like Halloween, paper piecing, crazy foam or holographic stuff.

I'm 40 (41 in Jan 06), and have been married to DH for 15 years this Oct - he likes horse riding, scuba diving and works for a mobile phone company.
We've got two children - Will who is 11 and currently into Star Wars and LOTR - he plays rugby and cricket but doesn't really enjoy football that much. He loves his computer games too.
Caitie (short for Caitlin) is 8 and very much a girly girl - pinks and purples and glitter and all that.
We have a dog too - Choccie, a mad male choc lab.
I've been scrapping for a year and don't think I really have a particular style, tho I do currently ink anything that stays still long enough! :lol: I love the Tim Holtz stuff and BG, plus the vintage Daisy D's, the new (slightly less bright) Studio K and, well,pretty much anything really. Plus Bazzill of course!
I love embellishments and am always collecting new ones - I'm particularly fond of charms and shaped brads. I also like collecting letters and phrases in the form of stickers or rub-ons - I've even been known to use them occassionally! :lol:
I like trying my hand at altering, stamping, and anything else at catches my eye.
There's not much I don't like really - if it's in a craft shop I'm happy to add it to my stash! tho I'm not keen on funky foam things or cutsey things.
Outside of my scrapping world, I spend an awful lot of time on UKS! I write for a living too (marketing and PR), so tend to be pretty much glued to a computer screen a lot of the time. I read a lot - scrapping mags of course but also books, esp crime ones. I have a definite weakness for chocolate, esp Cadbury's.

I've been scrapping since 2000 but am a very slow scrapper (and haven't scrapped in months).

I'm married, with a baby daughter, Lucy, born 3 June 2005.

I usually scrap in 12" x 12" but plan on doing some 8" x 8" albums.

Since most of the photos I've taken since June have been of Lucy I've started to collect stash to scrap those photos. Now keen on pinks and other baby colours, e.g. pastels, that I used to avoid like the plague!

I like patterned paper:

I'm not overly keen of brown colour combinations, e.g. the blue & brown or pink & brown papers and embellishments that have been around for a while.

I guess that flows into not liking retro-style papers.

I'm not too keen on the distressed paper look, e.g. Basic Grey motifica/sublime.

I don't like patterned paper with "obvious images" as patterns, e.g. little baby bottles.

I'm not a big fan of die cuts, though I do like Quick Kutz alphabets.

I rarely use wire.

I'm not into heritage at the moment.

I've just filled in my RAK form so here's a bit about me :)

I'm 22, married and have a son who's 19 months and my little angel :) I work with children so between them and my son all my pages so far are little-people based!
I love taking photos of the kids though, so this is probably why. So far everything is 12x12.

My likes are:
I LOVE embellishments. I love brads, buttons, ribbons (which I have few of) and all cool things like tags tokens charms the works, they're all fab.

I also love anything on techniques or how-tos etc. I'm so new to this still and anything showing me how to improve I'd just love to bits. SO anything to do with chalks, embossing, tools anything to help me make better LOs :)

I haven't done anything with mini books etc so that is all to come... I look forward to it!

My main dislike is really old-fashioned 'traditional' items. I've got a set of stickers that look like they're from the 'beverley hillbillies' era! I also dislike 'tat' - foam, overly glittery stuff, etc.

I've noticed a few people have mentioned non-scrapping likes - for me this is sweets (don't like chocolate!) buffy/angel, eddie izzard and Harry Potter :lol: I also love lush products... mmm :wub:

Christmas is my favvvvvvourite time of year and I love EVERYTHING. My tree is lilac and silver, but gold and red make me feel the christmassyist :)

I am doing an album for my husband who is travelling abroad and my daughter and two sons ages 20, 21-DD, and 25. I am a CM consultant so use their albums for my eldest son and husband as well as my yearly album. Have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel called Megan who is a scamp. As you can see keeping very busy, and loving every minute.
Dislikes- glitter, holographic stuff.

I am 37, married simon back in july last year, we have one son, charley who is 18 months...and i have three children from my previous marriage...17, 15 and 9. I love being a mum and a wife.

I've been scrapbooking since 2001 when i lived in Az for a few months and became totally hooked on just one visit to Michaels! i now teach workshops, classes, parties, personal classes etc at home, others homes and in a hired hall...totally love it! I am a small home/online craft retailer and am in the works of producing 'getting started' leaflets for all kinds of crafts...and technique how to's for various crafts too.

My tastes are so wide theres no room for distastes! I love anything to do with colour, style, pattern and life. I cant say i have any dislikes because i find i can integrate anything with anything! probably cos i dont plan my pages, they just happen!

My favourite colour (if i have to single one out) is blue...all shades. I love pretty things, girly things, romantic things, novelty things, bold things, heritage things...get the gist??!!

I am working on 5 albums at the moment....my 'charley book' ~ i had a terrible pregnancy and my baby had to be induced at 35 weeks so he spent 9 days in special care....recorded it all....i'm working on Jaymie's (16 year old son) leaving school book, my neices 'welcome to our world' book, my daughter's (9 yr old) scrapbook and watersport birthday party and my wedding album...i havent got all i need for any of them so i'm getting them as i go along.

i am a proud owner of the sizzix system and over 100 dies plus letters/numbers. I am amused by buttons and brads and will use them on ANYTHING!

Im hoping to start a milestone book for my family...we've moved house many times, endured many things that we've 'survived' through so im hoping to do that soon....

My other passions beside scrapbooking is photography, football (aston villa!!) tropical fish, reading (auto's and biog's mainly), music (almost anything) and talking...oh yeah im actually rather good at talking!! lol I guess i have a zest for life after so many serious challenges so there isnt much room for me to be into dislikes or grey areas!

Oh, I have another passion i had forgotten about.....(sorry Darren!) that is DARREN HAYES! He is THE man of all men!!! Aint much of his i dont have...sorry darren, im happily married now!!! I can not forget the men of all men though.... Vincent D'Onofrio....Law and Order: Criminal Intent's Bobby Goran....ooh yeah!!

Likes: Like basic grey, red, turquoise (my fave colour), green, black/white, blue; love simple stuff with bright colors/pastel shades! Discovered bright pink recently!! Journalling (if it's neat & tidy!) Large alphabets & rub on's (esp. black/white). Anything metallic! Love meaninful quotes, about friendship especially. Have a sizzix cutter but most used for alphabets rather than the shapes. Would love to try Tim Holtz stuff & want to try altering! (pref my body shape lol!!)

Dislikes: Pink, fluffy, lacy stuff...not keen on purple (although I use it occasionally) & really, really cant stand orange! Not wild on stamps, although I have some!

General stuff: Love nail varnish on my toes; candles (v. relaxing) cant eat peanut & hazlenut (allergy) but love penny sweets (some things you never grow out of!) & watching films, esp a good thriller & girlie film! I have a keen sense of adventure (ie am a qualified diver; have flown a small plane, in a hot air balloon, ridden on a camel) but am scared of heights so NOTHING would possess me to jump out a plane or abseil a building (or tall ladder for that matter!!) & can't spell or add up to save my life!! Phobic about cows & rats, both rational fears in my humble opinion! Currently doing a calligraphy course...

I'm Alison, 34 - married with no chlildren (as yet), but one 11 yr old stepson.

I enjoy scrapbooking and card-making, but don't do either to any great extent. I seem to spend more time stash building than stash using!

I started scrapping 12 x 12, but enjoy 8x8 more now.

My favourite colours are pink and pale blue, although don't have an aversion to any colours really. I don't know all the brands of stash and the names don't mean much to me at the moment.

I have just discovered eyelets and brads and love them, but haven't found many as yet - I'm sure there's more out there just waiting for me! Don't have many embelishments as yet. I like the roll-on adhesives (don't know the names of the best ones though) and have enjoyed making my first CJ. I've just bought a corner rounder, which I lurrve!! I like ribbons and fibres, rubs-ons and any kinds of letters. In fact, I pretty much like anything scrapbook related.


Only thing I'm not keen on is cats.

I like anything thats scrap related! (see told you it was short!!). No seriously, currently my favourite paper range is Basic Grey. I recently discovered it, and have seriously falled in love. I am hoping to build my collection. I currently have most lucky, black tie, fusion, and skatte shoppe papers. The next ones on my wish list are: Blitzen, Sublime, and Phresh and Phunky. I also love Bazzill cardstock-you can never have enough. I like most paper ranges, especially if its pink or purple!! I love brads, eyelets, charms, ribbons, and generally anything thats pink, purple, sparkly, and glittery.I also love alphabets:foam stamps, monograms, rub ons, stickers, etc. I tend to scrap mostly in 12x12, but i do like 8x8 pages too.

I love chocolate, especially the darker variety. Actually scrap that (get it!!), i love all chocolate. oh and sweets, but hey, who doesnt like chocolate and sweets.

My scrapping style at the moment tends to be quite simple with clean lines, but as i start to develop, its starting to get a bit more varied. I am really starting to like the shabby chique (no idea how you spell that), and the retro/modern styles. I hope to incorporate these styles in my lo's soon (but only as i get more confident)

Actually i dont think i have any dislikes in scrapbooking so this will be simple. If i had to name a dislike, it'd have to be for the chidlish scrapbooking style (like the scrapbooking style create and craft used to do before Scrapaholics! came along). Not into very bright (reds, yellows, orange etc) papers.

I love to scrap my dd (so girly colours are popular), my dh, family gatherings, holidays, and generally, just everyday life. I have about 6 albums on the go now. 4 12x12 (dd, family occassions, family heritage, and general), and 2 8x8 (dd and family again)

Oh, and how can i forget, i love ukscrappers. Since joining a few months ago, the site has helped me loads as i get to chat to others who love scrapbooking as much as i do, and i get to hear about the latest products, best buys. I also get loads of inspiration, so thank you!

I love anything from Doodlebug, Junkitz and Bazill cardstock of course.

I like all sorts of embellishments - metal in particular and am really into alphabets - stickers and diecut ones. I like pattened ribbon and anything chipboard. I would also like to try anything from Queen and Co.

I try not to eat loads of chocolate but I do love Minstrels.


Dislikes

Anything shiny or over fussy or lacy. Have loads of fibres so don't really need any.

I love Junkitz and Basic grey. I have loads of New York photos to be scraped and love anything of a new york theme.
There isn't acually a lot i don't like, and i'm dying to get my hands on some Prima flowers.

I have a Goddaughter and godson, so plenty of piccies of them to be scrapped, and we're hoping to get a puppy early next year.

I have a slight addiction to sweets (haribo, Pick n' mix, etc), am also addicted to scrapping mags!!

Love my mum and dad, but haven't scrapped any pages of them yet as i'm waiting to find the right theme.

Bout time i did this i think as i have begun to use it so much to see others likes/dislikes and it has been very useful.

I'm 25, married with one daughter who is one.

My main subject is my DD in 12x12 format. So i love anything to do with little girls, daughters etc. I'm not so keen on things that are too cutesy or flat stickers though.

I'm also doing lots of other layouts in 12x12 to do with family etc.

I also have a 6x6 album to start of our wedding in the lake district and our honeymoon in cyprus.

In general i like:

*MM, doodlebug, chatterbox, basic grey, junkitz and K&co Studio K in particular.
*Love brads more than eyelets and can never have enough!
*Alphabets - stickers, rub ons etc. I have sizzix doodleblock and ransom alpha's only but like any others.
* Dotty/stripey/patterned ribbons as i dont have a lot.
*Blossoms - any size, colour and not fussy about brands as poundland ones are fine. I have some prima flowers in medium vintage and brights but no others and love them.
* Beads - using these more for the centres of flowers etc.
* Matchbooks, mini books, paper bag books as i havent a clue how to make them well enough yet so find them a lovely gift!
* anythings to do with family, parents, grandparents, cousins etc. We have no little boys in our family just yet so i wouldnt make use of anything like that.

I dislike:
*Things that are very 'babyish' and too cute.
* Die cut shapes as i have no imagination on what you can do with them, lol.
*Flat picture stickers but dont mind cardstock ones or ones that have the appearance of layers :-)
* Not to so keen on the floral ranges like Anna griffen and some K&co.

I have lots of fibres and baby girl toppers but other than that I LOVE anything new!

Hi...my name is Frances, I'm happily married (for 36 years) and took early retirement.I'm tea-total (don't drinl alcahol at all), love dark chocolate and those round nabbly ones in the gold wrapping. I like most crafts and have tried quite a few...you should see the house (clutter isn't the word for it!!!!)
I like most colours , not really the flourescent ones though. LUV scrapbooking though new to it; started with 12x12, did one 8x8 for church and I am doing my first cj that size too. I am trying Mini albums, Tag books and smaller things too. I am a Master Doll Maker, porcelain antique reproductions being favourite. I make teddy bears, mostly 'collector' type ones but only as a hobby. I do flower arranging at church and in mainly local competitions and flower festivals. I belong to Essex Handicrafts Association and help with their bi-annual exhibition....love blackwork and embroidery. I make hats...started with the dolls and then learnt the right way for people!!
I've tried most papercrafts and have lots of 'bits' from all sorts of hobbies.
I don't have any children and am not at all 'girlie' ...a tomboy who never grew up really!! I love Christmas (can't bear XMAS), Art Nouveau, Arts & Craft Movement, textiles, wrapping other peoples parcels for them, Sci-fi, READING....sorry this is getting tooooooooo long. Thanks for looking.

Hi ... My name is Bev (32) and I live in a small village in Norfolk (about 15 miles north of Norwich) I have only lived here for 2.5 years and previously came from Essex!!

I was married once but now seperated (4 years) and I am now recently single again.

I have 1 dog (my boy)!!!! German Shepherd and I love doing agility with him.

I work as a Financial Controller for an IT company in the Docklands ...... but I work from home which is lovely!!

I have so many piccies and not enough time!!

I like:
- Generally like 12x12 but have recently got into 8x8 by doing my new Godsons album
- Heritage style pics and papers although havn't done a LO yet of these
- I use lots of flat stickers but I am looking to get away from that kind of thing by using more embellishments
- Ebay - I seem to be addicted!! keep buying loads of little bits at bargain prices
- I absolutley love anything by All my Memories
- Buy lot of making memory stuff and K&Co , mostly because my local craft shop does this ... but I am gradually branching out lol also just got into TLC ranges which are really great
- Like basic grey but struggling with a design

Dislike:

-PINK - really not keen, but have to do one for ex's little girl as she loves it!
- Not knowing where to start on a layout ... other peoples designs seem so inspired
- Flowers - its not I don't like them but I have loads at the mo and don't seem to know what to do with them :lol:

OK, where to start.

I am 27 years old and Live in Burton On Trent, although I am a Kentish girl as I was born there and lived in Kent all my life until a year ago.

I am married to Sean (28yrs old) and have 2 kitties. Flute who is a short haired black 3 yr old, and Logan who is a long haired brown/beige tabby who is 8 months old.

I'm 48 and married for 25 years to John. We have 2 children, a boy 21 and a girl 18 who still clutter up our home ( oops sorry - who still live with us to our eternal joy). Both of us work in the NHS.

I started out in cardmaking and wandered into scrapbooking about a year ago. I have done a fair bit of stamping so I have a heat gun and lots of embossing stuff. Also an embarassingly large collection of ink pads which I love - especially chalk ones. Anything that stands still long enough will get its edges inked. :) .

I love Basic Grey, Junkitz and Daisy Ds papers.
Metal embellishments
Alphabets of any sort
Natural sort of styles and colours - muted shades and rich autumny colours
Ribbons and fibres
Anything that someone else has made specially for me


I dislike Anything cutsey and too girly
Animals in the cute sense - mice with clothes on etc.
Stuff with words and phrases on - especially if it's sentimental and even more especially if it's in American 'English'
Cats - sorry I know this is heresy on here but I really strongly dislike them.


On the non scrapping front. I read a lot, and enjoy my own company. I love walking in the countryside, watching the birds, growing things in the garden, drinking red wine and ignoring the housework.
I detest Big Brother, all 'reality' shows and anything with Anne Robinson in it. I like detective type programmes like Waking the Dead and Silent witness.
My musical taste is shameful and I'm keeping that to myself :D
I never take a bath unless the shower is broken. <_< No allergies though and skin like a rhinocerous so any smellies are ok.
I can stuff myself silly on nuts and crisps etc. but can easily resist puddings and chocolate. I do like jelly babies, jelly beans, liquorice allsorts etc though.
I am rubbish at shopping -especially for clothes.

I would dearly love to be able to do the shabby chic look. I'm halfway there - have mastered shabby :)

I`m 35 and married. My DH ar in IT. We have 5 children, mine yours and ours. 3 live her all the time, 1 every 2 week and 1 every 2 weekend.
I live in north Norway, Troms.
I've been scrapping since the beginning of this year, but havent really been making many LOs. Done some cards for the lokal fishing champ(?), and some for my mums shop.
I`ve always been doing crafts, knitting, painting etc etc...
I`m also whith the lokal radio, as hostess or technician or just answering the phones during the programs.

Hi, I've been married for 8 years & have 2 lovely Daughters 6 1/2 & the 2nd was 3 on Halloween (both are nicknamed BOO & Baby BOO!)
If you ask my girls they will say my favourite colour is orange & I don't really like pink...but with 2 girls I am learning to like it...& a little is sliding onto my LOs. :rolleyes:
For some reason I use alot of green on LOs...but I don't know why :unsure:
I've just looked through my completed LO & there are NO pale pages...I obviously scrap Bright :D

I have alway done some form of craft & I love photography...inc B&W..although I no longer have access to a dark room.
I started rubber stamping about 15 years ago..I've lost count on how many I have...100s :D .....from this I make all my cards Christmas (a time of year I love), Birthday...which is good for school friends of my 6 year old but I am always looking for new card ideas for girls & boys.
I slowly started Scrapbooking approx. 18 months ago I have a K & co 12x12 general album, 3 8x8 albums one for DH, & one each for the monthly photos I take of the girls (Hot off the press & mrs Grossmans) I love this size but apart from brads I haven't added embelishments yet.
I recently bought some fiber which I hope to use on an Autumn page at some point...it was orange, green & brown with a lovely texture...
My style I think is structured, simple..I like to work with colour tones rather than patterns..although these are creeping in slowly But I do find them hard to use & I don't really have any except those free with magazines.
I use stickers & love to collect different fonts in upper & lower case & different styles..ie vellum, Disney (well with 2 girls who love Princesses :lol: ), fabric, bright etc.

I tend to scrap family & events rather than landscapes..but this may be because I have so many photos to do.
I don't own any gadgets Yet except a heat gun...& light box.

As to dislikes...we don't have any pets by choice & I'm not really good with cat & dog things. I don't really like things too fussy & glitzie & I can't sow.
I do not like real spiders with big teeth & hairy legs (DD2 has a spider cloths & hat obsession!!)

I like;
Simple LO. I love the bazzill colours and am inspired by 3 books; Bazzill Color, Monochromatic Scrapbook Pages by Pamela Lambie and Color Blocking Idea Book by Jolleen Hanson and Amanda McLaws. I love taking photos and like them to be the most outstanding thing on the page. I quite like using BIG photos and letting them speak for themselves with minimal journalling. Also love my sizzix and sidekick, especially Boxed Brush alphabet. Also punches, brads and eyelets. I like to tear paper too and ink or chalk the edges. Love my pens!

Don't like;
Fuss and frills, lace, lots of fibres, disney and themed paper (although I did do paw prints for my puppy page) LO with more embellishments than photos. I really, really don't like American quotes on English pages! (my son's American and I don't even like them for him!) You know things which say 'fall' instead of Autumn or go on about how sickly sweet things are and all that thankful for this that and the other stuff. (hope I haven't offended anyone)

I scrap my family and pets and anything that's going on in our village. I do 12x12 albums.

HI, I'm Elizabeth married to Paul for 5 years soon, we have 2 great sons Xander 3 and Kit 1. Used to do lots of things but now life seems pretty much taken up with the children and work! I help people set up out of school clubs so yet more people can return to work!
I started to scrapbook digitaly begining of this year and then in paper by may. I've made cards for years, including selling, stained glass, glass painting, painted things, paintings ... you name it (except knitting!) I've probably tried it! Studied fine art and graphics at uni ... great fun but didn't get me anywhere :) Doing 3 albums plus numerous altered projects at the moment - history one (pre marriage, mostly my side of family at the moment but will be both sides eventually) family life (now) and cornwall (lots of holidays there so doing a 6x6 just for our times there)

I am 25, live with my boyfriend Chris. My mum got me introduced me into scrapping about 2 years ago. She moved areas and shared all her stash with me that i have no added too.
I dont like chocolate (if i say it enough then i'll believe it! on a diet and chocolate is too many syns)

My scrapping style is hard to discribe really as i dont think i have a style yet. i dont like over fussy LO's and i love blue mainly dark blue. I have done LO of hoildays etc and my pets (cats, hamster and tropical fish), brothers and me and chris. I dont like gold anythings!!! I love silver embelishments but i cant stand gold/brass colours. (costing fortune in our house cos i'm insisting that all brass door handles have to be replaced with silver!! dont even like gold necklaces etc, i'm a silver girl. lol) I'm not into peel offs as i have loads and hardly use them.

I'm not into flowered papers etc, not really a girly girl. I seem to be addicted to alphabets at the moment, stickers, sizzix cut outs etc, stamps, anything with a letter on it! lol Also seem addicted to eyelets and brads. Was looking at box that has them all in and i was suprised by how many i actually have, but a woman can't have enough. I use them loads and loads, virtually on each LO somewhere.
I do 12x12 LO on mainly plain paper, not brave enough to use patterened papers etc.

I like most toiletries, but mainly stuff that i can use in the shower as i dont have baths very often (i dont smell, just have showers all the time.)
I HATE lavender!!!! It makes me feel sick. Love vanilla, ie in candles etc. We have lots of candles in house as there is no fire in our fireplace yet, just candles. I have a Dymo that i cant find replacement rolls for. Dont cost much, so maybe idea prezzie for Advent Swap.

Anything i havent mentioned i will probably like.

I love scrapping 12 x 12 and making mini books - love anything metal, not keen on anything yellow for some reason - don't know why. I don't scrap anything about animals or nature. I love anything by Blonde Moments, Basic Grey, Scenic Route Paper Company and Chatterbox and Karen Foster, Bazzill - not keen on reality papers - don't see the point really with all the beautiful papers that are out there.

I use rub-ons, brads, eyelets, ribbon, tacks, clips, charms, metal (anything), stickers, file folders, tag books, rubber stamps, inks, embossing (powders), tearing, weaving paper, paint, sandpaper.

I lurve white chocolate :wub: but not nuts or dark chocolate. I use smellies like lush.

Not keen on anything yellow (don't know why!! :blink: )

Rub on words (especially emotions) and alphabets. Love tags. Prefer 'subtle' paper to loud and busy! Love heritage, lace, olde things! Like ribbon, charms, rik rak, flowery stuff (unless very garish!) mini books, CJ's, would appreciate die cut letters as I don't have a die cutting machine, haven't tried altering anything yet but am just getting into ATC's, I love them, just bought a tin and cards, love collage sheets-especially women, nature, fairies. I like rubber stamps, ink pads, I use metallic rub-ons but have plenty! Love chalks (have a set of 24 Decorating chalks).

I work mostly on CJ's, usually 8x8, but am doing more 12x12 LO's now too.

Hi , I'm 38 married with three kids (8,6,4), i dog, 60+ cows, 240 sheep and 1 very fast cat who can out run the dog everytime.

I love altering just about anything, making mini books and albums of varing sizes, love all types of embellies (except very glittery stuff), earthy natural rich colours (not beige), rub-ons, alphabet stamps,prima, prima and more prima, i also love scenic route and would quiet happily decorate my house in it, ribbons pref. grosgrain or cotton tape,utee, beads, shabby chic.
Chocolate, anything milk, white, dark and nutty, toffee, praline.
Smellies, nothing to florally and overpowering, don't really do baths (I di shower everyday, Honest!!), Love spicey candles.
I think that'll do for know.

Dislikes, cartoony type papers, also disney, holographic anything, Marzipan blugh! Soft centered chocolates and jelly type sweets, another blugh!!!

Hi, I have 2 daughters who are both girly tomboys (is that possible) so I do all colours but I do love blues and purples. Paper wise, anything really but I do seem to have a lot of doodlebug, junkitz and basic grey in my stash but I like lots of other kinds as well.
I think I have a lettering fetish as I have so many, I love them all, any style, stickers, plastic dye cut, you name it I'll love it.
So far I've scrapped 12x12, 6x6, mini books, sarabooks, paperbag books and am getting round to a clipboard.
I always need blades for my fiskars trimmer, a refill for my herma tab dispenser but really aslong as it safe I'll use it.
One of my big loves are really fine tipped pens essential when you have small writting, Oh and I love Brads, just plain ol' brads in different colours. (Are you seeing a pattern here, shall I delete all of the above and just say, I love stash, any kind, style or colour.) I also love fibres and ribbons in any colour but pink and blue are my favs.
One of the things I use the most are rub-ons.
Non SB has to be chocolate(milk), pens, any thing really.
I'm not into vintage and I hate marzipan and dark chocolate
I hope I pick out something nice for you if ever we are put together in a swap, hope you don't mind me PMing you to find out the dope.

I'm Jayne - age 47, married with one DS - Adam 12 going on 55 who loves Dr Who, Lego and Pokemon, I work as a nurse in general practice, and have done for what seems like forever!!

I love all crafty things and have tried most over the years, mainly do scrapping now but still make all my cards and do a few mosaics. I scrap in 12x12, 8x8 and 6x6, I love paperbag books too - subjects I scrap are generally family days so beach, country, Christmas, also a bit of heritage and am planning book of me and a Book of Adam, now changed the plan to follow the Cathy Z idea on the General Thread. I also love messing about with paints and paint effects, and altering things. Love doing CJs and hope to dabble with atcs soon.

My favourites are: Basic Grey - especially Phresh and Phunky and Fusion, Junkitz, metal/lumpy embellishments, brads, organza ribbon, Tim Holtz, 7 gypsies, chalk inks, herma, Prima flowers and leaves, lettering and words - love alphabets, chipboard - colours green, sepias, autumnal shades, traditional Christmas, deep/muted shades. I have a Sizzix machine and love the dies for file folders, library pockets etc. Love all things autumnal, beachy, Christmas.

Non-scrapping - love chocolate (except white) - especially minstrels and maltesers(white maltesers are a work of true evil though), chickens, bees, Body Shop White Musk, strong hand cream, and did I mention chocolate :D - although the scales tell me I must cut down :blink:

Dislikes - really girly stuff, chintzy paper, cutesy stuff, stickers - more a problem with me than them - I just can't seem to get them to look right, staples - same reason, holographic stuff

I love most things scrapbook related.... where to start? I do 12x 12, and a few little books.

I love basic grey, Making memories, 7 gypsies... is it possible to have too much paper? I like all colours as I have a girl and a boy, but I am not very keen on sparkly things. I am also not so great with stickers, I bought loads but never use them unless they are words... I love words and letters.

My style, a bit shabby, quite simple, but I love ribbons, and fibres, and buttons. I love prima flowers, need to get some!! I am also just experimenting with alcohol inks.. also need to get some, and those really cute little cats eye colorbox chalks. (I have been addicted since the cybercrop had one in the box)

Just bought an eyelet setter, so getting to grips with those... ooh I LOVE rubon alphabets.

I love chocolate.. ordinary MILK chocolate.. flakes, rippples, etc, not really fancy stuff (dont get enough for your money!)

I love pens too.

I dont wear jewellery, nail polish etc...and only shower.

Hi, I am Sally (tho hubby nicknamed me Marge as APPARENTLY I resemble Marge from the simpsons when my hair gets too long!!!) and I am 37(ouch!)

I have four children, Rebecca 10, Lucy 8, Adam 6 and Sophie 18months.

I work as a Pharmacist 3 days a month, not much, but enough when I have four hooligans to control.
I try to walk when I can and love swimming, I love reading, esp HPotter, and semi- sloppy novels like Erica James and Katie FFord.

I got into scrapping just before Sophie arrived earlier last year and found the thing I have been looking for! Something for me!

I scrap what I like, so not necessarily following the rules, if there are any. I scrap mainly my kids, and family times, but I have done one side of the family heritage which I am really pleased with.

I always scrap 12 x 12, and I am definitley a paper girl - I just never can have too much! I love all BG, Gin X, 3 bugs, Crate and love getting matching sets of papers. But I basically love anything in all colours. Not so keen on abstract papers tho or those which are close up of real textures, if u get my meaning!

I totally adore ribbons and fibres, so all things related too, charms, etc
I am quite a fan of junkitz stuff.
I also adore tags and vellum,envelopes and flowery things
I love eyelets, plain or novelty, brads and snaps, ooh and love buttons.
I love alphabets, chucky, metallic, rub ons and sticky. Havent got any sissix or other machines, but love really big alphabet letters - spend all my time printing backwards! I am not sure about diecuts, never had any to decide if I like!

My dislikes:

Don't really have that many dislikes (I can usually find a use for most things!!).
You can see from my gallery that my scrapping style is pretty simple -
I don't use the pre-printed quote sheets (like the themed ones from KI Memories) very much - not because I don't like them, but because I usually do my journalling and titles on computer
I'm not really into buttons
I'm not a massive fan of stickers either - apart from letters
I have just got a Sizzix machine - so don't use pre-cut die cuts (the exception to this would be letters - as I haven't got any alphabet dies for the Sizzix yet)
Haven't really done much stamping - again not because I don't like it - just not really sure where to start and don't have many stamps

Hi-I'm a young 51 and I don't ever want to grow up!! I'm married with 3 'kids' aged 24, 23 and 12 and have a 1 yr old Grandson who is my pride and joy.

Hi I'm a 35 year old mad crafter from bedfordshire living with OH of 5+ years, mad samoyed and lots of tropical fish (no kids yet, but we are 'enjoying' trying :D )! I love crafting -virtually any kind from papercrafts, to house decorating, to working with warm glass, jewellery making and more! I also love sports doing - I have a horse and play a bit of amatuer polo, and watching - am a big football fan (support nottingham forest for my sins!), but like most sports EVEN cricket :P ! And of course I love :wub: LEGO (have been to legoland loads of time and have a huge lego collection - particurlarly lego trains)
I started scrapping years ago (back in '97 when I used to run a stamp/papercraft shop in Hitchin, Herts with my mum and sister - before anyone over here had heard of scrapbooking!!)). After we closed down in 2001, I put all the crafts away (was all crafted out after running the shop for nearly 10 years...LOL!) and did nothing for a couple of years. Got back into cardmaking slowly and then last year dug out my scrapping stuff and now am completely addicted again (became a TLC consultant to help fund my addiction)!!

For my job, I'm now a book agent, delivering books and gifts, to school and workplaces (after trying out lots of jobs like window cleaning, being a starter chef, running a beauty clinic...LOL!) which is great because I'm self employed, in charge of my own time and work with my OH but boring 'cos it's not a creative job...

SB Stash: I've got tons of card making equipment left over from running the shop (we used to run classes, so loads of part used bits and bobs left) and I've got a large (well some would say excessive :lol: ) stamp and punch collection but you can never have too much! :P ... I scrap mostly 12x12 (inc. canvases) but also love doing 8x8 and accordion books, so any size really!! Also like to play at altered art...But haven't got quite so much scrapbooking stuff...
I Love fibres, ribbons, brads, eyelets, stickers, rubons, embellies, well anything really :D !! Haven't got many die cut alphabets or monograms, so they would be useful....also haven't got any Prima flowers at all or many fibres, would love to try these...

SB Likes/dislikes: Hmmm, well have to say my tastes are fairly wide really... Basic grey has to be my fave along with K and Co journeys end and anything by Tim Holtz :wub: ! But also like anna griffen, brenda walton, NRN designs, Karen Foster...anything from abstract, to modern, to elegant and fussy, floral or plain (anything really!) Not so keen on girlie images - like handbags and shoes and no baby or wedding pics to scrap yet, unfortunately...

I don't have a die cutter (am saving a for a craft robo) but will hopefully have a wizard embossing machine by the end of the year... cos I love the look of dry embossing, but can never be bothered to get the light box out (and I've got tons of brass stencils...)

The colours I like are reds, pinks and purples best, but not too fussy..

I scrap all sorts (espc. lots of the pets and days out) and we celebrate ALL the occassions of the year, from new year thru to xmas (inc. halloween, valentines etc...) BUT ADORE XMAS THE MOST (may not have kids, but I'm a big kid myself :) !!)

I Like chocolate (especially chocolate liquers, but not so keen on nuts) and coffee (my fave is coffee chocolate! :love: ) but NOT girly things (smellies, soaps infact don't like ANYTHING from body shop !!)
As I said above... I love getting suprises... and will appreciate *anything* that someone has taken the trouble to send to me.

I have three children, two boys 13 & 9 and a girl 7, have an old english sheepdog who takes up a lot of my time, grooming, walking and pampering! Love scrapbooking, tend to take ages pouring over photos and papers and pickig out embellishments. Also a keen card maker and a knitter. Have to have busy hands!!! Scrap in 12 x 12 mostly but have purchased smaller albums but not got round to doing these.

Love anything, love most colours - brights, pastels are among my favourites and do like pink and was hoping my wee girl would too but nope, but I still scrap her with pink bits n bobs, a mother has to be llowed to indulge herself occasionally! I am new to scrapbooking and havent really found much that I dont like, except maybe the really really cute cute american stuff that is all done for you - leaving nothing to you imaganation. Always like to be diffrent. Like most chocolate, except anything with chocolate and orange. Also dont drink as a rule.

Haven't scrapped much even though I started buying about 18 months ago!! Love to shop. Have tons of baby boy and USA photos to scrap, oh and the wedding!! Working with 12x12 and 8x8.

Really keen on:
Modern. Stripes. Spots. Fav colours: purple, pink, blue, brown, cream.
Letters (I am useless at hand cutting and rely heavily on stick or rub ons).
Fibres. Glitter. Brads. Lots of things really!

Not so keen on:
Anything gold or holographic. Victoriana.

here goes.....I'm 47 , married to Kevin with two grown up sons, Simon 22 and Robert 20 who still live at home. I also have a dog, a black tibetan terrier called Dibley. I work for The Open University and have done for the past nine years.

I have been buying scrapping materials for the last 3 or 4 years and have a stash that I regularly admire, stroke and fondle. I love Basic Grey and have Black Tie, Vagabond, Dawson, PHresh and Phunky and Blitzen ( well not yet Vikki but i am buying from you!) I love altered things and paper bag books. Don't have a lot of pink as I don't have girls. I love "words " and alphabets. I need organising.

I recently lost my mum and accuired the family photographs, have started a heritage album.
With my inheritance I took my boys to Disney, something my parents wanted to do but were too ill to do so, and so I promised them that I would do it.....I have all of those photo's to scrap.
I have just completed a wedding album for a friends daughters wedding, I bought a portable photo printer and printed the photos at the reception, and am doing an album for my friend of her 50th year as a suprise for Christmas

Zambesi is kindly teaching me all about stamping, so I am currently buying stamps, ink pads etc. I have also started making cards. I love penny black stamps and need to get some adirondack ink pads ( for those of you that don't know they come in the same clours as the alcohol inks.....yummy)

I enjoy my baths, slow and relaxing, not really into showers prefer to luxuriate.

I prefer plain chocolate but don't really have a sweet tooth. Love pistachios, green olives and sizzling chicken tikka. Eat out quite regularly but enjoy cooking.


I am a happy go lucky person and will enjoy whatever I am given, if its something you like and would use then I'm sure that I would like it too.

I'm 24 and have a daughter aged 2. I'm on UKS virtually everyday. If I'm not, it means I'm in hospital having treatment
I'm really into pink on brown. I love flowers and have started a little collection of Prima. I have loads of ribbon and brads (pastel and crystal). My favourite papers are BG's black tie 'coventry' and making memories 'cosmoplitan' pink paper. Any ribbon, metal embellishments or lace is appreciated.
I'm love Tim Holtz's work and think this is slowly becoming my 'thing' as are altered canvas'.
My taste is split between vintage and modern bright stuff (depends what mood I'm in) - reflected well in my (bulging) wardrobe and my layouts. I am not a simple and clean scrapper (I am busy + loud!). And I'm from Liverpool originally (been in the midlands for 3 yrs)

Fave scrapbooking brands are Maya Road, Scenic Route (just hugely love and adore Scenic Route papers) , Rhonna Farrer, Basic Grey and Autumn Leaves - these are just a few of my favourite ranges I like but I do like many others too !
Ribbons - particularly patterned and stitched design - love May Arts, Maya Road, American Crafts etc
Brads - any !
Any type of alphabets but at the moment am particularly in love with chipboard alphabets and cant get enough of them,any font any size !I like natural colours , greens, browns, lemons etc but also like girly colours and pastels , not really into bold primary colours.
Any embellishments - that are cat / dog related, girly embellishments - through from baby to teenage
I LOVE LOVE LOVE flowers/blossoms
I also hugely LOVE Maya Road chipbaord flowers too !!!!!
And lastly any form of chipboard embellishment whatsoever!

I scrap in 12x12 , 8x8 and 6x6!

My non crafty likes are mainly reading , cookery and I love LUSH smellies. Also love candles (especially lovely fragranced ones), I have to be a little careful with what smellies I use as I am react a little with some , everything from Lush seems fine, as do Body Shop and Boots products . I love chocolate too (milk preferably but cant eat raisins / dried fruit in chocolate) my fave chocolate is Flakes and Ferrero Rocher. I amaddicted to Walkers salt n Shake crisps!

I dont have many major dislikes but dont particularly like holographic things , also I have a Sizzix machine so can do most diecuts myself, I have loads of fibres

I'm really new to scrapbooking, and just can't stop buying stash :D . My trips to Disney are what got me started, but now i'm also looking forward to doing LO's of my DS and all the other photo's I have around the place.

My Likes
Junkitz, Karen Foster, Urban Lily, Basic Grey, ribbons, eyelets, brads, anything Disney/Florida themed and white chocolate. I also love the idea of decorating paint cans and lunch tins.

My Dislikes
Flowery paper, holographic paper, stamps (just can't get on with them :( ), Lace, old fashioned style stash, candles, anything overly scented.

Away from scrapbooking I like reading and swimming.

I have two boys who do lots of sport. We also have 2 dogs that I have yet to create a page for. I scrap 12x12 mostly.

I love most things - so am fairly easy to please. I love any embellishments - such as ribbon, fibres, eyelets, brads, charms - anything on that line and anything I may not have seen!. I own a sizzix.

My particular favourite lines are Basic Grey, Karen Foster, Doodlebug, but enjoy building up a collection of anything new by anyone.

My favourite themes include the beach, babies, Christmas, animals (dogs) and seasonal.

I prefer pastel and natural shades (nothing too bright) - but any little surprises would be very welcome.

On the non scrapbooking side - I love most things again - chocolate, candles, pens, paper, cute or cuddly things.

I don't like smellies as I have sensitive skin which most things irritate.

I am 35 married with a 4 year old DD. We have a cat but she is getting on.

Newbie to scrapping but have a shed loads of stash from cardmaking. Like most things including having QK, Sizzix, Dymo, computer and printer, into fibres, eyelets, brads and buttons and colourful papers. Well into altering stuff at moment but need to do some basic stuff as well! Like the altered style of stuff but also rubber stamping.

Not so keen on glitter and things like jewels ( FAKE I mean). Not so keen on dry embossing but willing to try again!

Ears are pierced, like small not over top things so no Camilla tiara please!

Like handbags, but on large side so no Small size nics or tights please!

Hope that all makes sense and is not too cheeky. First Advent for me so if same sure I will love what ever lovely presents come my way!

My name is Michelle i am 39, married to the lovely Jason and have a daughter aged 15, Philippa- (uks name scrappin'teen!)i have not pets other than a marine fish tank.. lost my cat this year and not allowed another 1!!!! :angry: I think i have a good sense of humour and i am kind and caring!
I work in Cambridge for the university (St John's College) in the accounts dept! so after a stressful day i enjoy getting home and cropping!
I was a cardmaker before a scrapper and have a lot of stash obviously of the cardmaking kind.. love my stamps... especially hero arts and penny black!!
I stumbled onto scrapbooking by searching for a scrapbook store in my area and i found one only 17 miles away. We meet every week to crop and it is great, been going for about 5 months and i am definately hooked..

Likes... love BG, KIMemories, Mambi, Doodlebug, Bazzill. Brads, buttons, fibres,ribbons, and flowers. I am quite an organised scrapper and must have everything co-ordinated, so a bit odd in that respect!Will fiddle till it is perfect......, alphabets,(any shape or form, stickers, stamps,monograms) love altering things too. Love pink papers/fibres and purple, but i think that is because i am a girl and i have a daughter so mainly have been scrapping pictures of her.

Dislikes.. not many really..do not really like antique things or bright gaudy colours. I do not have much blue paper as no boys in the family, but does not mean i don't like it,err can't think of anything else of the scrapping kind!
Don't like celery!!yuk stuff! Not keen on body cream either, and no thongs or skimpy nighties etc as i do not have a figure like Kate Moss more like Dawn French.

My fav colour is aquamarine. Any blue tones, silver or cool colours.

I love cardmaking too. I'm trying to do some stamping and matting...to varying degrees of success! :mellow:

I love all things scrapping really. Love unusual embellishments. but not girlie stuff. I love football and music so anything connected is always good. I support Northampton Town so anything claret & white is great. Sizzix dies are always greatly received. I love metal frames. I'm also a card maker so any cards or papers are always good. I collect butterflies, dolphins and sheep as well.

My name is Morag (my Dad was scottish and got to choose names). I'm 39 years old, married to Pete for 6 years, 2 adorable kids - boy aged 5 and girl aged 1 3/4.

I've been scrapping for about 6 months, but have been totally obsessed by this fantastic hobby. I mostly scrap the kids (in fact I only scrap the kids). I like to try out different techniques as they are all new to me - I didn't make cards previously.

My favourite embellishments are metal and ribbon, but I do like all sorts and will generally find a way to use something in my stash eventually.

CK Magazine is my favourite - I like the designers and the US style. I also like the collage effect, but as yet find it difficult to achieve.

Chocolate is a big hit as always.

I'm really excited about Xmas this year for all the lovely photo opportunities.

I am 35 and married with 3 children (3, 2 and 9 months!!)

I am really easy to please, in that I like most things and have very little I dislike.

I have been scrapbooking for about a year, and for that I work in 12x12. But I love doing the other altered stuff now as well. I do tag books and paperbag books and any kinds of tins I can find.

Don't particularly like really smelly things like candles and stuff - mainly due to the children really and my lack of time for pampering.

Love trying new techniques and reading stuff about new things.

I am currently selling my Sizzix stuff as I now have a Craft Robo.

I don't mind things that are not acid free as my children use some of my stuff too and I also make cards now and again where it is not necessary.

Forgot to add I love chocolate!!!!not fancy ones though or soft centres. Things like QS and Roses are great.

The altered/collage thing is big with me as is (conversely the clean simple look)
