We're going for lunch at the in-laws. I still have to work Friday and Saturday so not much of a break for me. The time that I do have off will probably be spent packing since we're moving soon. We aren't doing much either, DH and I have to work Friday and Saturday and he also has to work on Sunday too, oh well I'll have a nice dinner done for him when he gets in :)

DH has gone for his annual camping, boozing and walking holiday :P we will be meeting him on sunday for lunch at a freind's house. Otherwise the kids and I will be here.

Have just bought an AMM Tote-ally cool bag, which is brill, have all my essential bits, plus heaps more in it and I then discovered a couple more pockets!! Hoping to do some scrapping this weekend and really try it out. Was hoping that the ribbon that I ordered from QVC would have arrived, it was shipped on Monday, but no luck, so will be next week now I guess, never mind, the wait will be worth it (that's what I always tell the kids at christmas anyway :lol: )

My QVC stuff came yesterday and today (got the TSV and the Lisa book/CD/etc - really pleased with them, very good value for money :) And since they have come already, I expect your ribbon will be well and truly on its way to you :)

i got the TSV as well-I decided to be sensible and got the beige-although the blue and pink appealed more I was worried they would clash with the house (!). I am really pleased with it-seems like good value and hte card ideas are really nice!

I love the idea of just sitting down and churning out a load of cards that look great, and then being all organised with them in my box! Think I might pop a set in the mini book for my MIL for Xmas too... :)

ooh you were right Hils, my ribbons did arrive today - I have never really played with ribbon before, have had the odd bit off chocolate boxes etc, but not my own selection :) Have used them on a LO of our guinea pigs this afternoon, almost hate to use them they look so nice in their box!

It is my secret shame! I always seem to forget about the tag until I am packing up a CJ, half an hour before the PO shuts. So, um yes, I still have Chantal's tag, and um, yes, I have one for Ali's too. I will do much better this month though, because Nicki's CJ has a sign in page, not a tag!

I'm sorry, but i cant do this positive cj anymore. Me and "the love of my life" have split up, and I cant be positive anymore, thats why ive took so long to send it on to tracy, because obviously it was the relationship one, and i done about me and alan and i couldnt send it, so i was trying to change it but i cant. So ill send the 2 cjs i have at the moment to you on monday tracy. Im sorry about this but it feels like my whole world has fallen appart and i just cant right about positive things at the moment. again im so sorry!

Oh Sarah pet :( so sorry about your break up, but I wish you would reconsider chuck as not all things positive are bad, I know it seems hard to understand where I'm coming from by saying this because all you can focus on right now is the one you loved for a long time is gone from you, hard because you can't see around you all the positiveness you worked on, your web building dream, everything you know and trust, there is nothing else I can think of to say that would make you feel any better Sarah or to change your mind about leaving this cj round but life is an experience and there will always be moments of sadness but out of those experiences must be moments of happiness, draw on those moments if not them then we will all miss getting to know you, stay with us pet (((BIG HUGS))) hope you feel better ;) :)

Thanks for saying this Tracy! I have been trying to think of a way to ask Sarah to stay on,but could not think how to put it! The other thing to mention is that the "relationships" them was not just about your partner, but could be relationships with parents/siblings/friends/children/colleagues etc ( I intentionally did this on the basis that not everyone joining the CJ would necessarily have a partner or want to share details of their relationship with their partner)

Anyway-Sarah-it would be great if you decided to stay on, but we will understand if you feel you cannot.

If Sarah decides she is definitely unable to continue I guess the rest of us just carry on and we will all have another theme missing in each CJ. I am happy to fill in some gaps if people want pages filled!

Is it Nicki that has Sarah's CJ at the moment?

I'm sorry that it took me so long to send out the cj tracy, im a bit ashamed to say i forgot, i only relised when i needed some glue and went into my suplies, i havent even thought about scrapbooking lately, ive just been trying to keep my mind busy, nd when i scrapbook it makes me think and i dont really want to because i always thing about the same thing. i used to walk to clear my head, but i only ended up crying in the middle of a park because me and alan always walk there. im just an emotional reck right now, ive been tryin to talk to him face to face for ages but his excuses seem to be getting more extreem and i dont like talkin to him over the phone because i dont really have his attention.
sorry to dump that on you all but i jsut needed to get it out, because my mam has even stopped listening she was suportive at first and now shes telling me to stop being stupid.
and ways i am really sorry about the delay, im still kicking my self for forgetting.

I just looked at the timetable again and the reason for our mix-up anyway is that because Ching went missing between us, you are supposed to mail on pmk's and I am supposed to have spare time. Both of those are true, so no wonder we were confused. :wacko: :lol: So miss out my spare time, but please mail it as I am away from Friday. DH will be here to receive, or collect from post office.

It will affect the other spare times after mine though.

I had a couple of things to talk about on the LO, but it is quite simple and wordy!!! I did the whole thing from opening the journal to sealing the jiffy bag in about 1 1/2 hours, which is a miracle for me - it probable looks like 10 minutes work :lol:

So I have had spare time for Job and Personality so far, so next I should be doing Talent skill as that's next on the list, but if Talent skill is also spare time for me it doesn't make sense as I am also down for spare time for Positive phrase, that makes 4 spare times and only 3 people have dropped out haven't they? Help!!!!!

we are off to Cornwall for a week and then a week in the Isle of Wight in August - we have down graded from a campervan to a tent, so not sure i can manage 2 consecutive weeks :P I get back on 28th so I will post it on the Monday (31st)

Hi all - I am in Shetland - and happily had good news from Nova Scotia this week - Grampy Jim is in hospital and will probably end up in a home, but the crisis has passed and he is in good spirits. Thank you again for your wishes.

Chantal, thank you, the CJ arrived Friday when noone was home, but we picked it up Saturday and it is looking beautiful up here in Shetland by my bed.

Great news about your grandad Kelly - we had quite a few close calls with my grandad a few years ago, but once he was in a home he was much better - and still is! I think part of it is because he has a much better diet, plus company and the reassurance that someone is there if he needs them :)

Hi everyone - hope you're all enjoying the sunshine. I'm back from hol now and for about the first time in my life I have a tan!!!!! Very excited since i was plastering myself with the girls mega high factor sun lotion because normally I go red, peel and then go back to typically scottish peely-wally!! Only slight prob is that my hair has gone an odd shade of brown...guess I should have known that the first time in years I dye my hair something will happen....I did it weeks ago but obviously the sun has had an effect on it!

Knowlege-thoughts behind this were that we all have something we know lots about-be it Take That, cooking, where to get the best value stash from, English literature, photography etc etc. What do you like about your knowlege? What are you proud to know?

Idea behind this is that I regularly think I am stupid/do stupid things and have to be reminded that actually there are things I know lots about-and even though they are not vitally important, it is something to be proud of......

I took a real positivity risk on this one - I had a fun idea based on some of the art journalling work I have been doing over the past year, and a 'safe' idea. I went with the risky idea - DH and my best scrapbooking mate (Harrey on here) love it, but I am kind of nervous about it.

No worries Tracy. Im hopefully getting to the post office this afternoon. We have the inspector from my sons soon-to-be-school coming around tomorrow to make sure we live where we say we live and Saturday Im in work all day.

Big happy news for me - I have been promoted at work, so now I am director of studies at my school, which basically means I have fingers in many pies (as opposed to many fingers in the pies, which is what happens when I bake with my reception class :D ).

More good news, my poor grandad that was so ill at the beginning of the summer and rather threw me off my stride, is coming out of hospital at last on monday and my sister says is in great spirits.

Bad news for CJs - mine has been all bundled up to post since Wednesday - tried to leave work at 4 to post it, both yesterday and today. Boss comes in both times and adds 'just one or two things' to my to do pile! Blast! So I am very sorry Tracy, but it should be on its way to you tomorrow morning (she can't get me at home, right?). I suspect you will laugh when you see the paper... it may seem quite familiar.
