atcs have i understood this right? also help needed

am interested in doing some atcs. just schecking i undertsand you make cards of the size stated in the post by jane or use pokemon cards. decorate them in themes like 4 in a love theme. post pictures on here andpeople can tarde them.

do people trade for just other atcs or scrap items?
how do people store their atcs?
do youp m people to trade?
do people generally just make originals or do they do copies?
do you have to trade the whole set or just individual ones?

No problem with the questions, I had loads too when I started. You are right about the size, and I believe the theme is entirely up to you. Yes, you post pics on here for people to trade, they will PM you (send you a personal message) if they see anything they fancy, or if you see one you want to trade then you can PM them. I believe if you trading ATCs then it is just for ATCs, not other stash. I store mine in sheets which I buy from local collectors shop, I think they are 9 ATCs to a sheet and they are pretty cheap and store in an A4 binder. When I send ATCs out I send them in trading card pockets which are about 99p for 100 - itjust protects them a bit. I think they are usually originals. And you trade whatever you like - I've only traded individuals but I think some people trade sets. What someone said to me when I started was that the only unbreakable rule was the size. It's art after all, what has rules to do with anything?

BUT saying that you need to make sure you post your ATC pics on the Picures Only thread, and any chat goes on the Chat thread. Hope that helps.

I picked up a copy of "Simply Stamping" from WHSmiths today, which had as its free gift a booklet about ATCs - well worth a look if you can get hold of a copy.

yes use pokermon cards or playing cards size
u decorate them any way u want
i store my atcs in a old pokermon card album but am going to make a atc book
you put your cards up on the thread to trade then if u see a atc u want u pm that person /vice versa and swap cards
u can either trade the whole set or individual

pretty sure i got it right but if i havent the girls will correct me

i want to buy the individual protectors to send in and the sheets for the ring binders. i have looked a link in the sticky topic but am confised as to whihc ones i need. cansome give me a direct link to the pages i need of a site that sells - preferebaly a cheap / reasonably priced one
