Ok, I'm loving this month's book and I've actually done a layout inspired by one of the many gorgeous layouts in the book. I'm really pleased with how it turned out :)

It's here (http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=70441&cat=2) if anyone wants to take a peek :D

I'm planning several layouts inspired by the book. I love large photos and there are some smashing ideas in there.

So... what's the next one then?? :P

I've just had a wee look to see if there's anything going on over at the NYOBC website, and it's all shiny and new. Looks like it maybe only went live today as there are only 7 members on the boards, and no posts. It looks like there's still a lot to be set up on it, but hopefully they'll keep it up to date this time.

There are a couple of books on there that I don't recall seeing before, perhaps one of them is our next one

And has anyone else done anything from the Bigshot book? I finished my homework today. It definitely meets the criteria; it has a HUGE photo and the layout says something about me. Haven't got around to scanning it yet though.

Hey Carol, I didn't realise there was a NYOBC website? Can you send me the link, please? You going to Fiona's this Friday? I'll be there for the first time and I'm all booked in to crop on Saturday too so I'm all set for scrapbooking this weekend.

I think everyone will have had their kit now, it was well received last night at the Friday Night Crop. However, as members now know, we have decided to stop doing NYOBC, partly because kit quality and book content has been quite variable....most were great, but also packaging issues with the kits (just don't mention that glue!!!) We have been running this at practically no profit margin, and as people have handed notice we have decided to take a break.

Friday Night Crops at PaperArts are full every month, we will certainly be carrying on with those. Book online or in the shop!!

Thank you everyone for your enthusiam, support and we hope you have enjoyed NYOBC for the past 14 months. We will carry on getting the books in, but say three times a year to make shipping more economical!!

This doesn't mean to say that PaperArts won't come up with another innovative monthly/club/kit offering (after all we pioneered the cardstock kits three years ago!) Got my thinking cap on.......all suggestions greatfully received (preferably practical!!)
